DESIGN FORA HEAD AND SHANK MEMBER FOR BICYCLE-PUMPS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,872, dated June 14, 1898.
Application filed March '7, 1898. Serial No. 673,016. Term of patent 7 years.

Be it known that 1, JOHN II. Goss, of Vaterbury, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for a Head and Shank Member of a Swivel Connection for Bicycle-Pumps; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawing and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawing constitutes part of this specification and represents a perspective View of a head and shank member of a swivel connection for bicycle-pumps embodying my design.
This invention relates to adesign fora head and shank member of a swivel connection for bicycle-pumps; and the design consists in the configuration as hereinafter described, and shown in the accompanying illustration.
As herein shown, the head A has a rounded top and four sides, two of which are slightly rounded, and the other two sides, opposite to each other, are flat. The shank I which depends from the head, is corrugated or ribbed, and through the head and opening on the flat sides thereof is a passage C at right angles to the plane of the said shank.
I claim The design for a head and shank member of a swivel connection for bicycle-pumps as shown and described.
