DESIGN FOR A BASE FOR COIN-SCALES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,669, dated May 17, 1898.
Application filed May 1, 1897. Serial No. 634,781. Term of patent 7 years.
To (LU whom it may concern.-
Be it known that we, CHARLES P. SWEENEY and IIORATIO VVRIGLELcitizens of the United States, residing in the city and county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for the Base of a Coin-Scale, of which the followingis a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
The leading feature of our design for the base of a coin-scale is a base consisting of a block and an upwardly-pointing indicatingfinger rising from the side thereof.
Figure 1 represents a perspective View of the base of a coin-scale embodying our design. Fig. 2 represents a vertical section on line a: 13, Fig. 1.
Referring to the drawings, A designates the base of a coin-scale, the same consisting of the block B, the indicating-finger C, and the standard D. The indicating-f1 nger rises from said base at the side thereof and projects above the upper edge thereof.
WVhat we claim is The design for the base of a coin-scale substantially as shown and described.
