DESIGN FOR A KEY-TAG.

TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Be it known that I, ARTHUR STAFFORD, of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings, and State of New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design for Tags for Keys, &c.; and I do hereby declare the following to be a correct description of the shape and configuration of the same, and the distinguishing features thereof, reference being had to the annexed drawing, wherein- Figure 1 is a. view of the surface of said key-tag, and

Figure 2 is an edge view of the same.

The general form of my said tag is that of a circular or nearly circular plate, a, with a ring or loop, b, on one side, by which it is to be attached to the key or other article. The edges of said tag, instead of being smooth, as usual, are formed with a series of projecting points or teeth, a, thereby giving to said tag the shape and configuration represented. These teeth increase the ornamental appearance of the tag, and for hotel-keys are peculiarly acceptable, as lessening the risk of a person accidentally taking the key with him.

What I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

The design of the shape and configuration of the circular or nearly circular tag, with the teeth around its edges, as set forth in the drawings and specification.
