DESIGN FOR A BOX-LID HOLDER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,531, dated May 3, 1898.
Application filed March 22, 1898. Serial No. 674,837. Term of patent M years.
To aZZ whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOSEPH LANHAM CON- WAY, of Sioux City, in the county of WVoodbury and State of Iowa, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Box-Lid Holder, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this specification, in which similar characters of reference indicate corresponding parts in all the figures.
Figure l is a perspective view of a box-lid holder embodying my new design. Fig. 2 is a rearview of the holder, and Fig. 3 is an edge View of the same.
The design in its entirety comprises a flat body portion a, parallel members I) b at one end, and parallel members a c at the opposite end. The members b b project from the :0 body a at about right angles to one side face thereof and are separated by a slot d, extending to the base of the members I) b. The memher a ranges diagonally to one side edge of the body a and lies in the plane of the body, while the member 0 is slightly offset to lie to one side of the plane of the body portion and joins to the latter by an inclined portion 0 The leading feature of the design comprises the body portion, members projecting from the body at one end at about right angles to one side face, and additional members at the opposite end ranging in a direction diagonal to a side edge of the body.
