SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,952, dated December 7, 1897.
A li ati fil d October 9, 1897. Serial No. 654,728. Term of patent '7 years.
To all 1071 0122, it may concern.-
Be it known that I, FERDINAND SCHWEDT- MANN, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of St. Louis, in the State of Missouri, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Holder for Fusible Cut- Outs, of which the following is such a full, clear, and exact description as will enable any one skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification.
I11 the accompanying drawings, where my new and original design is shown and where like marks of reference refer to the same parts, Figure 1 is a front elevation. Fig. 2 is a side elevation, and Fig. 3 is a bottom plan View.
The leading features of my design are described below.
5 is a substantially rectangular body portion. In the body 5 is a chamber 6. Projecting upwardly from the top of the body 5 is a pin or standard 7, on which an insulator for the line-wire may be secured. At each side of the body 5 and projecting therefrom at an angle is a substantially cylindrical portion 8, in each of which is formed an opening 9, communicating with the chamber 6 for the reception of a suitable insulating-bushing for the Wires passing to and from the fuse-box. The parts 8 begin flush with the top of the body 5 and extend downwardly to near the bottom of eaclrside. Extending from each of the parts 8 near the top of the same and substantially at right angles thereto is a lug 10. In each of the lugs ll) is an opening 11, through which pass the screws or bolts which secure the holder in position.
Having described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States, is-
The design for a holder for fusible cut-outs substantially as shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and afiixed my seal in the presence of the two subscribing witnesses.
