DESIGN FOR A GYCLOMETER-CASE.
I SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,977, dated April 27, 1897.
Application filed March 12,1897. Serial No. 627,251. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, WENDELL L. SHEPARD, a citizen of the United States, residing at Waterbury, in the county of New Haven, State of Connecticut, have invented a certain new and original Design for a Cycloineter- Case, of which the following is a description, reference being had to the accompanying drawing and to the letters of reference marked thereon. v
My invention relates to a design for a cyclometer-case, and especially to the shape and configuration of the barre1,whieh contains the operating parts, and the support therefor.
The design is illustrated in the accoinpanying drawing, which is a perspective View of the invention.
In the drawing, A represents the cylinder 0r barrel, within Whichthe usual numberin gcylinders (not shown) are supported, this cylinder being slotted to receive a glass, and
having upwardly and outwardly extending flanges a adjacent the ends of the slot. Depending from the lower part of this cylinder are cars, between which is arranged and supported the upper end of a downwardly-projecting piece C, which at a point just below the cars is formed with a twisted portion 0, so that the lower part D, which is adapted for attachment to the axle of the bicycle-wheel or to any suitable part of the frame, stands at a right angle to the longitudinal axis of the cylinder.
I claim as my invention The design for a cyclometer-case, substantially as shown and described.
