DESIGN FOR A WOODEN BOX.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,642, dated June 16, 1896.

Application filed November 13, 1895. Serial No. 568,870 Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, FREDERICK JAMES E1)- GARS, a citizen of the United States,iresiding at Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a \Vooden Box, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is an elevation; Fig. 2, a plan, and Fig. 3 a vertical section.

The general configuration of the box is round, with the upper part of less diameter than the lower part, and the leading features of my design consist in the compound curved surfaces between the two cylindrical portions, a rib With a compound curved surface at the upper part of the smaller cylindrical portion,

The top a is flat with tapering sides I]. The body is cylindrical at c, and with a portion contracted in diameter at (I, with a projecting rounded rib e at the upper edge, and the in termediatc compound curves at h, and the bottom of the body is grooved at o and rounded, as a head, at '21.
