SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design NO. 25,432, dated April 21, 1896.

Be itknown that I, ARCHIBALD F. REDDIE, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Carpet or other Fabric, of which the following, taken in connection with the accompanying drawing, is a specification.

The design of my invention may be applied to or made to appear upon Brussels, \Vilton, velvet, or other carpeting in such colors or combinations of colors as may be desired, and the accompanying drawing presents to the eye of the observer a clear understanding of my design and also its leading characteristic or essential feature or features.

In the drawing, A is the body, 13 the border, and A B the carpet. However, for, the sake of a further description the leading or characteristic feature of my design may be .said to be the bunch of flowers a, with their spray of leaves 1) and scroll-like figures 0, displayed upon a background (7.

I. In the design for a carpet the body A, substantially as shown.

2. In a design for a carpet the border ll, substantially as shown.

3. The design for a carpet consisting of the body A, and the border I), substantially as shown.
