DESIGN FOR A ROOF-PLATE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,798, dated October 29, 1895.
Application filed September 25,1895. Serial No. 563,661 Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ADOLPH C. WoLznNDoRr, acitizen of the United States, residing at the city of East St. Louis, county of St. Clair, and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Roof-Plates,of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part of this specification, wherein the figure represents a roofplate shaped and configured according to my new and original design.
The design illustrated in the accompanying drawing is for a roof-plate of that class especially adapted for car-roofs.
The essential features of this design are the single flange at the top or at one end of the plate and the bent flanges at the two sides of the plate, the remaining end or bottom of the plate being plain.
In the drawing, A indicates the plate, which is of general rectangular form, said plate being formed with corrugations a near its sides, while the remaining portion of the plate is flat and plain. Rising from one end of plate A is a single flange 13, while at the two sides of the plate are the flanges C, the upper ends of which flanges C being bent at an angle, as at D. The remaining side of the plate or the side opposite the flange B is plain.
What I claim is The design for roof plates, substantially as herein shown and described.
