Term of patent 14 years (Cl. D48-20) FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a base for a floodlight or similar article embodying my new design.

FIG. 2 is a rear elevational view of the base of FIG. 1.

FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the base of FIG. 1 showing generally the side opposite that from the side shown in FIG. 1.

FIG. 4 is a front elevational view of the base of FIG. 1, this view being generally similar to FIG. 3 but showing the upper part of the base tipped forwardly from its FIG. 3 position.

FIG. 5 is a perspective view thereof.

FIG. 6 is a side elevation thereof.

The broken line showing of a floodlight in FIGS. 1, 2, 3 and 4 is for illustrative purposes only.

This is a continuation-in-part of design application Ser. No. 1,628, filed Mar. 25, 1966 and now abandoned.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a base for fioodlight or similar article, substantially as shown and described.
