Be it known that I, Elizabeth Nightingale Graham, a citizen of the United States of America, residing in New York city, county of New York, and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Powder Box or the like, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof, wherein,

Figure 1 is a top plan view of a powder box showing my new design.

Figure 2 is an elevational view of same, and

Figure 3 is a sectional view of the powder box taken along line 33 of Figure l, diagrammatically illustrating the arrangement of the cover top ornamentation.

The characteristic feature of my design resides in having part of the ornamentation of the cover top of the box applied to the inner face of the outer transparent layer thereof, and the complementary portion of the ornamentation applied to the outer face of the inner non-transparent layer of the cover top, thereby creating a three-dimensional illusion.

I claim: The ornamental design for a powder box or the like, substantially as shown and described.
