UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE PLACE MAT OR SIMILAR ARTICLE Kenneth 0. Hamilton, Milwaukee, Wis., assignor to Milwaukee Lace Paper Company, Milwaukee, Wis., a corporation of Wisconsin To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that 1, Kenneth 0. Hamilton, a citizen of the United States, residing at Milwaukee, in the county of Milwaukee and State of Wisconsin, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Place Mat or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

The figure of the drawing is a face view of a quarter-section of a place mat embodying my new design, which design is repeated symmetrically in each of the other three-quarters of the place mat.

The design is an open work shown in the drawing on a black background to better bring out the details thereof.
