UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A CAP FOR A WRITING INSTRUMENT To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Alexander Sydney Weston, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and. ornamental Design for a Cap for a Writing Instrument, of which the following is a specification, reference being made to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

Fig. 1 is a front elevational view of a cap for a writing instrument, showing my new design;

Fig. 2 is a top view thereof; and

Fig. 3 is a bottom view thereof.
