Be it known that I, Sidney R. Bell, a citizen of the United States and residing in Stamford, county of Fairfield, and State of Connecticut, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Head for a Portable Sewing Machine, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, in which:

Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a head for a portable sewing machine, showing my new design;

Fig. 2 is a plan view thereof;

Fig. 3 is a front elevation thereof;

Fig. 4 is an elevation, showing the needle end of the head; and

Fig. 5 is an elevation, showing the opposite end of the head.

The ornamental design for a head for a portable sewing machine, substantially as shown.
