DESIGN FOR A COMMEMORATIVE NOVELTY Allan Gordon Lorimer, Douglaston, Long Island, N. Y., assignor to The City of New York, a municipal corporation of New York Application April 14, 1948, Serial No. 145,712

Term of patent '7 years To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Allan Gordon Lorimer, a citizen of the United States, residing at Douglaston, L. I., in the county of Queens and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Commemorative Novelty, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a commemorative novelty or similar article, showing my new design.

Fig. 2 is a side elevation thereof.

While I have shown my design in the form of a commemorative novelty, it should be understood that the design may be embodied for example in other similar articles, such as paper weights, ash trays, candy and nut trays, baskets,

jewelry, toys, and the like, without departing from the spirit of the invention.

I claim: The ornamental design for a commemorative novelty or similar article, as shown and described.
