DESIGN FOR FRINGE,

SPECIFICATION firming part of Design No. 13,894, dated May 8, 1883.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, GEORGE E. GOUGHER, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city and county of Philadelphia, and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced an original Design for Fringe, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

0f the drawings, Figural is a frontelevation of a fringe embodying my design. Fig. 2 is a cross-section of the pendant.

In the drawings, A are pendants, respect ively in alternate and adjacent pairs, of the form of spirally-fluted cylinders and of hexagonal pa'rallelopipedons ornamented-with balls B, and attached to any suitable heading, 0.

I claim- 1. Adesign for afringe, consisting of a heading, and. of pendants, respectively in alternate and adjacenbpairs,ot'the form of spirally-fluted cylinders and of hexagonal parallelopipedons, as shown and described.

2. Adesign for a fringe, consisting, of a head ing, and 0t pendants, respectively in alternate and adjacent pairs, of theform of spirally'fluted cylinders and of hexagonal parallelopipedons, and all of which are ornamented with balls, as shown and described.
