PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A GLIDER Aaron S. Goldberg, Philadelphia, Pa.

Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Aaron S. Goldberg, a citizen of the United States and a resident of Philadelphia, county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Glider, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, wherein:

The characteristic feature of the design resides in the parts shown in solid lines including a metal panel extendinglongitudinally across the front of the glider, said front panel being secured at its opposite ends to the end panels of the glider and being disposed in a vertical plane immediately beneath the cushion supporting plane of the glider seat with the opposite edges thereof substantially flush with the vertical front edges of the end panels, as shown, the said several panels referred to constituting a unitary assembly surrounding and concealing from frontal and side view the spring supporting structure for the removable seat cushions (not shown) and the said front panel being free of upholstering to form a self-decorated inflexible depending valance for the front edges of said cushions when the latter are in place.
