To all whom it may concern: I
Be it I nown that l, Hnnm Rosina, subject of. the ang of Belgium, residing at La Pralle erstal, Bel iuiu, have invented certain new and use ul lmprovoments in 1 Automatic Pistols and I hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of my invention.
The present invention relates to an automatic pistol havinga fixed barrel and a non sliding casing, the same being arranged so that the frame or body does not directly re ceive the shocks due to the recoil, which permits of considerably simplifying the manufacture of said body and reducing the cost- 1 of same. The trigger, firing and disengagement mechanisms are also greatly simplified.
The accompanying drawing represents a pistol of this type.
Figure 1 is a side elevation of the pistol without the cover plates of the handle. Fig. 2 is an end view. Fig. 3 represents 21 iongitudinal section of the pistol when closed. ig. 1 is a transverse vertical section on line A-A Fig. 3.- Fig. 5 shows a longitudinal section on B. B Fig. 8. Fig. 11 shows the sear separately. Fig. 12 represents the plug or closure piece for securing the firing spring-- within the breech-bolt.
'The pistol consists of a. frame or body '1 which carries the barrel 2, surrounded by which forms the upper part of the arm.

This cover or casing is perforated throughout its long return s corresponding th and contains the breech-bolt ring '5 which bears, at its inner; end, atgalnst an'internal flange or shoulder (3 of sai casing 4, and at its. front end, against the head 7 of a rod 8, whose rear end is screwed into the upper p irt. 9 of the bolt 10 (Figs. 3 and 9-). This bolt is provided with two lateral ton ucs 11, which engage within ongitudi-nal grooves 12, in the bod 1, The bolt- 10 is also gliided in the sai body 1 and is ca able of moving alternately backward and orward.
The head 9 of the belt 10 extends along -the to) I lower arm "and its end comes immediately under of the body 1, and slides, by its two faces 3, on the upper face of the said body and further, it is constantly forced toward the rear end of the casing 4 by means -of the re-action spring 5. The lower part of the bolt is provided with a longitudinal chamber which is closed by a removable plug 17, andserves to contain the firing pin 1 1; the latter being pro vided, at the rear end, with a projection 15, wherewith the sear engages when the arm is cocked, as hereinafter described. The firing spring 18 is arranged between the plug 17 and the tiring pin 14 in such a manner that it constantly tends to force the latter forward. f
The lock mechanism comprises a sear 16, pivoted on a pin 19 carried by the body and having its nose arranged in the path of the increment of the projection on the firing pin; the said sear being constantly pressed toward the rear by a spring 20 which is held in place by the pin 22 and causes the of the said soar to bear against the rear wall of the body.

The trigger 26 is pivoted to the bod 1, and is provided with a spring 28 w ich tends to maintain it in its forward position.
