ID-SQUARE.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, VINCENO KRAJIGEK, commercial traveler, a subject of the Austro- Hungarian Emperor, and resident of 767 Sladkovskystrasse, Pardubitz, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary, have invented an Innproved T-Square, of which the following is a specification.
This invention has for its object to combine the auxiliary means which are neces sary for drawing angles of given size, with the T-square in such a way that they form a handy whole with the latter.
The invention consists substantially in a second rule being combined with the blade of the T-square, which second rule is intended to replace the ordinary triangle or other set square, and for this purpose is arranged so as to be revoluble over a circular scale and also adapted to slide along the blade of the T-squa-re.
An example of construction of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a plan view; and Fig. 2, a section on the line A-B of Fig. 1.
The blade 1 of the T-square is provided with a longitudinal slot 2 which serves for guiding a slide piece 3. A disk 4 is firmly connected with the latter and between the slide piece 3 and the disk 4, a rule 5 is provided said rule 5 being pivoted on the sliding piece 3. The disk 4 is provided with a Specification of Letters Patent.

circular scale, of which only some divisional lines are shown, while the rule 5 is provided with a gage mark 7 This in combination with the dial or divided circle 8 allows of the rule 5 being adjusted to make any desired angle with the blade 1. A pointer or indicator 9 is provided on the upper side of the disk 4 the said pointer being pivoted on the pin 6, which pointer may be adjusted to a division 10 of the blade 1. This allows of parallel lines being drawn with the rule 5 at a given mutual distance apart without separate instruments, such as compasses or the like, being necessary.
Having fully described my invention, what I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:
In an improved T-square, the combination of a graduated blade having a longitudinal slot, a piece adapted to slide in the slot, a graduated disk secured to said piece, a rule pivoted on said piece and interposed between the latter and the disk, a pin carried by the disk, and a pointer carried on the pin, substantially as described and shown and for the purpose set forth.
