adapted for use in barracks for displaying shoes and accouterments for inspection.

The device is designed for application to ordinary iron bedsteads, and can be uickly attached to or removed from be steads without the use of tools, and when removed may be folded for storage or shipment.

In order that the invention may be fully understood, reference will nowbe made to the accompanying drawing, in which:

From the foregoing it w' be understood that l, have produced a device of simple durable and 'mexpensive construction, an one well ada ted for the purpose intended, and while I ave shown the preferred form of my device, ll, of course, reserve the right to make such changes in the constructlon and arrangement of parts as properly tall within the spirit and scope of the appended claim. a

Having thus described my invention,what I claim is: p A shelf for bed-steeds, comprismg, in com spaced transverse brace members a middle longitudinal brace member adjom' said transverse brace members, upturne ends formed on said transverse brace members, and provided with eyes, rods looped at their lower ends into said eyes, and termed at their upper ends with overturned hooks adapted to engage over the side rails of a bed stead, and resilient means for clamping said rods against the body of the shelt.
