IMPROVEMENT IN STATION-INDICATOR FOR RAILROAD-CARS.
The Schedule referred to nthese Letters Patent and making part 0f the Same.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, WiLLIAM H. ECKERT and JAMES A. BLACK, of Dayton, in the county of Montgomery, and State of Ohio, have invented a new and improved Annunciator for Railroad-Gars; and we do herebydeclare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof', which will enablel those skilled in the art to make and use the saine, reference heilig had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification.
'Ihe nature of this invention relates to improvements -in anuunciators for railroad-cars, the object of which is to improve the construction ofthe saine.
It consists of an improvedarrangement ofthe ratchet for operating the rollers over which the belt works, on which the names of stations are placed, and an arrangement ofthe said rollers whereby the belt may be kept tight, as will be `more fully described on reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein- Figure l represents a front View of an annunciatorl 4provided with our improvements;
