have found in practice in devices of this character that it is important to form a covering of suitable material in order to properly protectthe glass receptacles or vesse and at the same time to make the bottle as light as ossible for convenience in carrying and han ling. I have further found that it is of advantage to provide preferably a glass -drinking receptacle and to properly support the same so that it will not e broken in transportation. My invention is designed to accom lish these purposes and in the drawings, have shown a construction which I have found in practice operates successfully but it will be evident that the arrangement of the arts may be varied and other instrumenta ities may be employed which will come within the sco e of my invention and l do not therefore desire to be limited in every instance to the exact construction as herein shown and described but desire toA make such changes as may be necessary.

Between the. bottom wall of the vessel and the covering 6, l provide-a suitable heat and cold non-conducting material 15, such as natural wool, which serves as a cushion for the bottles and will assist in preventing breakage of the same and at the same time assists as a non-conductor for the heat and cold.

The two vessels 1 and 2 are held in suitable position with res ect to eachother by any suital'ile spacin evice and in the dnawings, l, have shown t e dellectors 16 which extend integral from the outer vessel into substantial contact with they inner vessel, for this purpose.

ratan or other suitable material which will serve the purpose.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

1. In a device of the character described, an inner and outer vessel having a vacuum therebetween, -a covering surrounding the vessels and extending around and engaging the neck thereof, a cap for said covering, and a removable drinking vessel seated around the up er exterior portion of said covering and he d between said cap and the extension of the covering whereby breakage of the same is prevented.

2. In a. device of the character described, an inner and outer vessel having a vacuum therebetween, a covering surrounding the vessels and extending around and engaging the neck thereof, a cap for said covering, a removable drinking vessel seated around the up er exterior portion of said covering and he d between said cap and the extension of the covering whereby breakage of the saine is prevented, and means for reventing accidental displacement of sai cap from said covering.

In a device of the character described, an inner and outer vessel having a vacuum therebetween, a wicker covering surrounding the vessels and extending around and engaging the neck thereof, a wicker cap for said covering and a removable drinkin vessel seated upon a covering and held iiietween said cap and the extension of said coverin whereby breaking of the saine is prevente 4. In a device'of the character described, an inner and outer vessel having a vacuum therebetween, a wicker covering surroundin theivessels and having an extension aroun the neck of the vessels, a wicker cap for said covering, a removable drinking vessel seated and held between said cap and said extension whereby the drinking vessel is suitably protected, and means for locking said cap and covering together.

In a device of the character described, an inner and outer vessel having a vacuum therebetween, a wicker covering surrounding the vessels and having an extension aref" nd the neck of the vessels, a wicker cap for sid covering, a removable drinking vessel seated and held between said cap and saidextewhsion whereby the drinking vessel is suitabff. protected, and coacting eyes and loops colngf mon to said cap and covering for locking the parts together.

6. In a device of the character described,` an inner and outer vessel having a vacuum therebetween, a wicker covering for said boti tles having an extension around the neck thereof, a cap for said covering, coacting eyes and loops on said cap and covering, pins for lockin said eyes and loops together, and a remova le drinking vessel carried by said 6g cap and seated and held between said cap and said extension whereby the drinking vessel is suitably protected.

7. In a device of the character described, a bottle, a covering surrounding said bottle and extending around and engaging'the neck thereof, a cap for said covering and a removable drinking vessel seated around the upper portion of said coverin and held between said cap and the extenslon ol' said covering, 75 whereby breaka e of the cap is revented.
