' INEPROVED TABLE-LEAF SUPPORT.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

To whom tt ma/y concern.-

Be it known that I, J OHN HJLTs, of Detroit, in the county of Wayne, and State of Michigan, have iuvented a new and useful Improvement in Table-Leaf Support; and I do declare that the following is a true and accurate description thereof, reference being had said frame, secures Iinto a notch in the circular bar.

A is the leaf hinged to the table B in any ordinary manner. A

C is a circular bar, hinged to the plate K, which is properly secured to the under side of the leaf A, and

passing through the loop D secured to the bottom of the table-frame E.

A latch, F, pivoted at I to frame E, clamps the circular bar by fitting into a notch, L, when the 'bar is extended to support-the leaf.

The stop G, which may be pivoted or bolted to the frame E at J, serves to prevent the latch from being thrown too far round when itis desired to release the bar. l

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

The circular-bar 0,hinged or otherwise secured to the plate K, or to the under side of the 'leaf of a table, as herein set forth, in combination with the loop D and latch F, substantially in the manner and for the -purposes herein set forth and described. v
