Beit known that I, Jsoo *L Aeownz, of Newark, in the county of Essex, and State ofv New Jersey, have invented s new and useful Improvement in TravellinggBagst and I do hereby declar that the following is a full, clear, and exact description' thereof, which will`enable others skilled inthe art to malte and use the stime, reference being had to thescompanyingdrawings,forming a. part ofI this specification, in which- Figure'l represents a front -view vof' my improved travelling-bag.' Thisl invention relates 'to a new manner of prevent-ing the ends of travelling-bags from getting loose, andconsists in attaching, to each of the links by which vthe ends' of the handle-are connected with the bag, two

arms, which, when the bag is suspendedifrom the handle, fit over and around the sides of the frame, holding the,

l As soon as the strap is taken hold of, it will at once canse the links to swing up, and the arms, b, to lap over'the sides of the bag, to close the same.
