SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No; 654,340, dated July 24, 1900.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, CHATTIN BRADWAY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Phila delphia, in the county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented new and useful Improvements in Trousers-Hangers, of which thefollowing is a specification.

My invention relates to a tr0users-hanger, and has for its object to provide a device which is adapted to hold four pairs of trousers and which is at the same time smalland compact.

The several novel features of construction and combination of parts will be hereinafter more fully described, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a perspective view of the invention. Fig. 2 is a plan view thereof. Fig. 3 is a side view showing the hanging hook turned down and the leaves clamped.

Similar numerals correspond to similar parts in the several views.

The device consists of two strips of metal. At suitable points the ends of the strips are bent oppositely, forming the leaves 1 and the central leaf 2. The numeral 3 represents the enlargement or eye formed at the point of bend. 4 is a rivet securing together the double thickness of the strip and serving as a stop for the clam ping-ring 5, the enlargement 8 serving a similar purpose.
