IMPROVEMENT IN PERPETUAL CALENDARS.

Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 56,935, dated August '7, 1866; antedated july 25, 1866.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, HORACE HARRIS, of Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented a new and Improved IJerpetual Calendar; and I do hereby declare that the following' is a full and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon.

My invention consists in the `table of igures B, arranged to pass by the list of days C on the frame A. The lips d d on the table of iiguresare used to gage the 'distance of moving the table up or down.

. In Figures 2and 3 it will be seenthat the ends of the table go through the frame at G Gr. The part of the .frame E is depressed back of the table, which is moved by the days by means of the tape, or its equivalent, on the face of the table.

Thus it,will be seen that when the figure 1 is placed opposite any day of the week on which the month comes in, the calendar will be complete opposite the days of the week for that month.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

The table B, arranged to slide by the days C, substantially in the manner and for the purpose set forth.
