Abstract

A hydraulic control valve is provided which can amplify the pilot flow controlled a pilot valve coupled to the control valve. Orifices are inserted into the pilot and main flows so that the pressure difference or drop across these orifices may be transmitted across a spool in order to control the main flow in proportion to the pilot flow which in turn is controlled by the pilot valve.
