1 TOILET DEVICE FOR USE BY DOGS I 2 SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Many individuals and families who would like to keep 5 In accordance with my invention, I provide a toilet device disposed indoors for use by dogs. After the dog or dogsare properly trained to use the device, the fouling previously referred to is eliminated and dogs can be kept by individuals or families without concern for this problem.
My device employs a ramp disposed on a bathroom floor and extending upwards to a horizontal disk shaped recess tapering downward to a central opening. A water drains extends downward from the central opening. A manually operable water flush system cooperates with the drain.
The dogs can be trained to use the facility to void liquid and solid waste.
The ramp can have a raised peripheral lip to prevent An additional drain can be disposed at the base of the ramp to facilitate removal of improperly directed waste.
A shower like water spray apparatus can be installed above the recess and drain to facilitate washing down.
The entire facility can be inclosed in shower curtains The ramp and recess can be installed permanently or detachably over existing structures or can be built in as a new installation.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS my invention; and
FIG. 2 is a cutaway side view of my invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Referring now to FIGS. 1-2, a ramp 10 having a raised peripheral lip 14 extends upward to a horizontal platform with a horizontal disk shaped recess 16 extending and tapering downward and inward to a central opening 18 communicating with drain 20. The wall of the drain has perforations 22 connected via circular feed line 24 and feed tube 26 to flush type water tank 28 whereby flushing can ensue as desired.
The base of the ramp can have an opening 30 connected to second drains 32.
Posts 34 extending upward support a horizontal ring 36 carrying sliding rings 38 supporting shower curtain 40.
A water feed line 44 can supply water to a shower head type spray 42 which can direct a water spray downwards for cleaning.
The invention can then be used as previously described.
While I have described my invention with particular reference to the drawings, such is not to be considered as limiting its actual scope.
Having thus described this invention, what is claimed as new is:
1. A toilet device for use by dogs comprising:
a horizontal disc shaped member lying on a floor and having a central opening, the top surface of the member tapering downward from the periphery to said opening;
an elongated ramp having one end integral and flush with the periphery of the member and extending V downward therefrom to the opposite end which is only slightly above floor level, said ramp having a smaller opening centrally disposed adjacent the opposite end;
first and second waste drains, the first drain extending downward through the floor from the central opening, the second drain extending downward through the floor from the smaller opening;
water spray producing means including a spray head disposed above the central opening and adapted to direct a spray of wash water downward thereon; and
shower curtain means enclosing the member and spray means while leaving the ramp exposed.
2. The device of claim I wherein the sides and opposite end of the ramp have a raised peripheral lip.

Claims (2)

1. A toilet device for use by dogs comprising: A HORIZONTAL DISC SHAPED MEMBER LYING ON A FLOOR AND HAVING A CENTRAL OPENING, THE TOP SURFACE OF THE MEMBER TAPERING DOWNWARD FROM THE PERIPHERY TO SAID OPENING; AN ELONGATED RAMP HAVING ONE END INTEGRAL AND FLUSH WITH THE PERIPHERY OF THE MEMBER AND EXTENDING DOWNWARD THEREFROM TO THE OPPSOTE END WHICH IS ONLY SLIGHTLY ABOVE FLOOR LEVEL, SAID RAMP HAVING A SMALLER OPENING CENTRALLY DISPOSED ADJACENT THE OPPOSITE END; FIRST AND SECOND WASTE DRAINS, THE FIRST DRAIN EXTENDING DOWNWARD THROUGH THE FLOOR FROM THE CENTRAL OPENING, THE SECOND DRAIN EXTENDING DOWNWARD THROUGH THE FLOOR FROM THE SMALLER OPENING; WATER SPRAY PRODUCING MEANS INCLUDING A SPRAY HEAD DISPOSED ABOVE THE CENTRAL OPENING AND ADAPTED TO DIRECT A SPRAY OF WASH WATER DOWNWARD THEREON; AND SHOWER CURTAIN MEANS ENCLOSING THE MEMBER AND SPRAY MEANS WHILE LEAVING THE RAMP EXPOSED.
2. The device of claim 1 wherein the sides and opposite end of the ramp have a raised peripheral lip.
