Abstract

A golf game comprising a flat flexible cellular playing surface having one or more holes (in a golf sense) at predetermined distances from a starting line with a flexible resilient stop bar permanently attached to the edges of the playing surface and each hole being provided with a flexible resilient retaining wall permanently attached to the playing surface at and along a portion of the lip edge of said hole furthest away from the starting line in such a manner so as to deflect a ball into the hole if driven with less than a predetermined amount of force but allowing the ball to continue on its course without deflection if the force so applied exceeds the predetermined amount of force.

1 claim:
1. In a golf game comprising an elongated strip of flat flexible cellular sheet material having (in a golf sense) a hole therein with cylindrically shaped walls the improvement which comprises attaching to the rearward portion of the lip edge of the hole with respect to the game starting point a flexible resilient stop bar permanently mounted to the strip whereby a golf ball if driven with less than a predetermined amount of force is deflected into the hole but allowing said ball to continue on its course without deflection if the force so applied exceeds said predetermined amount.
2. The golf game of claim 1 wherein a plurality of holes are uniformly spaced towards one end of said strip, a resilient stop bar is permanently secured to and extends completely across each end of said strip and extends along substantially across the sides of said strip, two starting lines are uniformly spaced across the end of said strip furtherest away from said holes and an accuracy target in the vicinity of said holes is provided.
3. The golf game of claim 2 wherein the strip is of a foamed urethane plastic.

Claims (3)
