To all whom it may concern.-
Beit known that I, JOHN 'IHoMAs J OHNSON, of Kellertou, in the county of Ringgold and State of Iowa, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Scaffolding-Supports; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it pertains to make and use the same.

In using my improvements the operation is as follows: The bars are placed over the peak of the roof, and in consequence of their hinge connection they will conform to the angle of 5 the roof. When they are in place the supporting-arms are adjusted by placing-the pins at the ends of the braces, in the perforations that will give the desired adjustment, and after each supporting-arm is so adjusted a platform 50 that will. permit workmen to work thereon may be made by any means desired.
