JOHN G. TREADWELL, OF ALBANY, NEW YORK.
IMPROVEMENT IN COOK-STOVES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 34,322, dated February 4, 1862.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOHN G. TREADWELL, of Albany, in the State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Stoves; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon.
In the annexed drawings, making part of this specification, A represents the body of the stove, which is made somewhat in the shape represented and in any of the known and usual ways. Upon the rear of this body are situated the ovens B B, one above the other, as is seen.
D represents the casing around the ovens, the ovens being sufficiently smaller than the casing to allow of a free draft between at front and back from bottom to top.
a represents a division-plate which extends from the top of the lower oven to the bottom of the upper one for the purpose of keeping separate the front current from the back current of hot air until they reach a point above the upper oven.
