Claims (1)

  1. 5. A MACHINE FOR ASSEMBLING AND PACKING GROUPS OF INDIVIDUAL THIN FLEXIBLE SHEETS FROM SEPARATE BUNDLES THEREOF, COMPRISING PICKUP MEANS FOR WITHDRAWING A SINGLE SHEET FROM EACH BUNDLE, MEANS OPERATIVE IN CONJUNCTION WITH SAID WITHDRAWING MEANS TO ASSEMBLE SUCH SINGLE SHEETS INTO A GROUP, FOLDING APPARATUS RECEIVING SUCH GROUPS OF SHEETS AND OPERATING ON EACH GROUP TO FOLD IT TO A PREDETERMINED SIZE, MEANS PROVIDING A SUPPLY OF PACKAGING ENVELOPES, LOADING MEANS RECEIVING SAID ENVELOPES SINGLY SAID FOLDING APPARATUS FOR RECEIVING SAID ENVELOPES SINGLY IN SUCCESSION OPERATING TO PLACE EACH FOLDED GROUP IN AN ENVELOPE, CONTROL MEANS RESPONSIVE TO FAILURE OF ANY ONE PICHUP MEANS TO REMOVE A SHEET FROM THE CORRESPONDING BUNDLE, AND A REJECT MECHANISM OPERATED BY SAID CONTROL MEANS TO REMOVE AN INCOMPLETE GROUPE FROM THE MACHINE BEFORE SUCH GROUPE IS CONVEYED TO SAID LOADING MEANS.
