This invention .has relation to a kit devised to be especially useful to artists who paint.

`iin Aobject of 'the `invention is to .provide a kit of the kind herein presented which will be of novel and improved construction.

'1. In a kit, a rectilinear case including spaced apart,oppositely-disposed side and'end walls and a `bottom wall and adapted to lberested upon'a support with the exterior surfaceof one of` its sidewalls facing upwardly and the exteriores-urface of its other side wall facing downwardly thus to constitute a desk, spaced apart supporting legs for the case when constituted as a desk adapted to be detachably assembled with the side wall of said case the exterior surface of which faces downwardly, a working board for the case when constituted as a desk adapted to be situated above the side wall of said case the exterior surface of which faces upwardly, means for removably, adjustably supporting said working board on said case, and a drawer for equipment situated in the case and slidably removable therefrom at the location of said bottom wall, said case including an open, upper end, and a slidably removable cover for closing said open, upper end.

2. In a kit, a rectilinear case including an open, upper end, spaced apart, oppositely disposed side and end walls and a bottom wall and adapted to be rested upon a support with the exterior surface of one of its side vwalls facing upwardly and the exterior surface of its. other side wall f facing downwardly thus to constitute a desk, spaced apart supporting legs for the case when constituted as a desk adapted to be detachably assembled with the side wall of said case the exterior surface of which faces downwardly, a working board for the case when constituted as a desk adapted to be situated above the side wall of said case the exterior surface of which faces upwardly, means for removably, adjustably supporting said working board on said case, an entity in said case providing a paper support adjacent the open, upper end of the case and a drawer receiving container contiguous with said bottom wall, and a drawer for equipment situated in said drawer receiving container and slidably movable therefrom through a rectilinear opening in said bottom wall.

3. The combination as specified in claim 2, and a slidably removable cover for closing said open, upper end.

4. The combination as specified in claim 2 wherein said paper support is of curvilinear configuration.

5. The combination as specified in claim 2, and a partition in said case providing a compartment adjacent said paper support and contiguous with said open, upper end.

6. In a kit, a rectilinear case including an open, upper end, spaced apart, oppositely disposed side and end walls and a bottom wall and adapted to be rested upon a support with the exterior surface of one of its side walls facing upwardly and the exterior surface of its other side wall facing downwardly thus to constitute a desk, spaced `apart supporting legs for the case when consti- 6F tuted 4as a ydesk adapted :to-be: detachably: assembled lwith the side wall of said case theexterior surface. :of `which faces d0wnward1y,-an entity inthe case `providing a paper vsupport adjacent theopen, `upperend of the `case and a drawer receiving container contiguous with `said bottom wall, and a drawer `for equipmentsituated in :said `drawer Areceiving .container `and slidably removable therefrom `through a rectilinear opening insaid :bottom wall.

In a kit, a rectilinear :case including jan open, upper end, spaced apart, oppositely disposed sideandlend walls and abottom wall yand adapted to be rested upon a supportvwith the exterior surface of one of its side walls facing upwardly and the `exterior surface lof its other side wall facing downwardly thus toconstitu-te a desk, spaced apart supporting legs for the Vcase when constituted as a :desk adapted to be `detachably assembled `with the side wall yof fsaid case the exterior surface of which faces downwardly, an entity in said case including spaced apart, longitudinally extending walls and a curvilinear member rigid with said longitudinally extending walls adjacent said open, upper end, the longitudinally extending walls providing a drawer receiving container contiguous with said .bottom wall and said longitudinally extending walls and curvilinear member together providing a paper support, and a drawer for equipment situated in said drawer receiving container and slidably removable therefrom through a rectilinear opening in said bottom wall.

8. In a kit, an equipment receiving case including an open, upper end and spaced apart, oppositely disposed side walls and adapted to be rested upon a support with the exterior surface of one of its side walls facing upwardly and the exterior surface of its other side wall facing downwardly thus to constitute a desk, spaced apart supporting legs for the case when constituted as a desk adapted to be detachably assembled with the side wall of said case the exterior surface of which faces downwardly, and a removable cover for closing said open, upper end of the case.

9. The combination as specified in claim 8, and a paper support in said case accessible at said open, upper end.

10. The combination as specified in claim 1, and a paper support in said case accessible at said open, upper end.

In a kit, an equipment receiving case including spaced apart, oppositely disposed side and end walls and adapted to be rested upon a support with the exterior surface of one of its side walls facing upwardly thus to constitute a desk, a working board for the case adapted to be situated above the side wall of said case the exterior surface of which faces upwardly, hooks on said case and hangers on said working board for detachably, oscillatably securing the working board to the case, and elongated elements adjustably supported upon said end walls and including supporting elements for said working board.

In a kit, a case including an open, upper end, spaced apart, oppositely disposed side and end walls and a bottom wall and adapted to be rested ,upon 'a` support with the exterior surface of one of its side wallsfacing upwardly and the exterior. surface of its other sidewall facing downwardly thus tol constitute a desk, spaced apart supporting legs for the case when constituted as a desk adapted to .be detachably assembled with the side wall of said case the exterior surface of which faces downwardly, and an entity in said case providing a paper support adjacent the open, upper end of the case and a drawer receiving container with said bottom wall.
