The present invention provides'a tool-holder device which permits to set up, various interchangeable tools or revolving tool boxes. 7
In accordance with the present invention,.the
tool-holder device comprises a locking device which can be operated independently;- ofthe clamping of said holder in its operative position in such a manner that in the locking position of said device the fixed tool or revolving tool-box is locked in its position whilst with thelocking device in its open position, said-tool-or revolving tool box is released so as to permit to have its position changed or to be removed-from saidtoolholder.
Hence it is not only possible to set up =interchangeably various individual tools in the :-too1- holder, but also simultaneously a number of various tools clamped in the revolving toolbox, and each of said tools can be brought into operative position on its "turn by a rotary motion of said revolvingtool-box. I The invention itself both as to structure and mode of operation will be best understood from the following detailed description of a preferred embodiment of the invention shown by way-of example in the accompanying drawing. 2.- In-atool holder; the-combination of a; tool holding member having ;-a, spindle-like extension, ablock having abore accommodating said extension,ssa-id, extension. having. an annular recess, locking. means comprising,,a,n, 0perating member rotatably inserted in saiclblock and having, an axis positioned substantially at' a right angle with respect to said bore and having an. end portion, a head member comprising afork-like portion straddling .said extension in said recess and having a, stem portion rotatably and eccentricallyin'sertedin said 'end'portion, said operating member havinga groove having an annularly extending portion, an axially extending portion extending from one end of the aforesaid mrtion, and another annularly extending portion extending from said axial portion in a direction opposite to said first portion, and a pin connected with said block and extending into said groove and determining in cooperation with said groove the movement of said operating member.
