One of the! objects of thespresent invention is toprovide an improved-game, device which is particularly. useful-in playing the game -B ingo. f-
Another, object of the, present invention is. to, providejan-improvedgame,card or device of compoSiteJnature which is, ofrelatively small size and inwhich the various indicia, such as numerals, on the. card maybereadilyconcealed at. predeter; mined times, and in which all oi the concealed'indicia. maybe, readily. revealed or uncovered at other-times.

Fig. 4 is an enlarged perspective view oi one form of shutter or slidable cover device embody: ing the present invention.
Before explaining. in detail thepresent inven tion it is to be understood that the inventionis not limited in its application to. the details ca struction and arrangement of partsillustratedii-n the accompanying drawing, sincethe invehlfiion is capable of other embodiments and-of being prac; ticed oricarried out in various. ways It, is to be, understood also that the, phraseology or trniin}: ology employed herein is for 'thepiirpose at de': scription and not of limitationfand'it 'is' not f, tended to 11mm the invention 1 fni edQnerein be: yond the requirements ofthefpr'iorartf Referring now particularly. to Figs, 1- andlioi, the, drawing, the presentformof the game device embodyingthe invention is illustrate b the nature of a composite card, h at lit Said card compri es. prf sheet ll, a cover'sheet nd meme sheet l2, The cover orffa h w ovide wit a pli r rectangul r and s p gitudinally in straight all or transversely in stagg red reiatiqnsm of the openings l4 isdispos'd'ovr'ain"d is m'rg? istry" with the indicia, namely; the i'ifirfierals' l5 provided ats'paeea points'ori the race ofthe inter mediate sheet l2 located between backing'shet TI andcover sheet 13.
The cover sheet or facing sheet [3 is also pro vided, as shown, with a plurality ofltransversely disposed slots or openings. [6, each of which isarranged, as shown, below and adjacent? to the openings M. The slots l6 are, as shown, approximately. twice as long as the width ofv the openings hl and serve to support the finger-engaging and moving portion o'fishutter's' or slide members H, see particularly.Figs. 3 and 4." Each. oi the shutters comprises preferably a flat relatively thin body portion l8 shaped to provide a bead-like transverse finger-engaging portion 20 which extends and is spaced outwardlyfrom the bodyor base portion I8 and is interconnected with said body portion by a web or web portion 'or portions l9. The face of the body portion has applied to it, as shown, a numeral 21 which, in practice, would correspond to a like numeral-carriedby the intermediate sheet l2 beneath one of the openings M.
The slots I6 are so arranged and proportioned as to hold the bead-like portion 20 against withdrawal. In assembling the unit, the slide portions are inserted through the slots before the cover and backing sheets are joined together. Once the sheets are so joined, the shutter I! will be held in position with relation to the slot so that it can be moved or slid from one end of the slot to the other thereof. For example, the shutter may be moved from its broken line position at one side of an o e ing M to its closed position, as indicated at 9 in Fi 1.
As seen in Fig. 3, the body or base portions l8 of the shutter or concealing members I! are disposed in the space between the cover sheet I3 and the intermediate sheet or plate I2. While these shutter members are free to be shifted manually, they have a sufliciently snug or friction fit so that they will not shi t by virtue of any jarring or vibration to the surface upon which they are placed. In ractice, the shutter members. as their identifying numerals are called, are shifted from the left. with re erence to Fig. 1, to the right, with reference to this same figure. After the game has been completed, the user of the card by tapping its left edge on a sup orting surface, will autom tical y return all of the shutter members IT to th ir left-hand or broken line positions.
If de ired, the composite card It! may be provided with a serial number, as indicated at 23 and with an individual card number, as indicated at 24. As shown, the three sheets or plates H, I2 and I3 are preferably held together in their com osite card form by means of a marginal row of itching 25, see Fig. 1.
While in the form illustrated in the accompanyin drawing the rows of openings or windows l4 are shown in straight vertical alinement and in sta ered horizontal relationship, with the corresponding slots l6 being in a similar arrangement, the openings or windows I4 may be so arranged that they are in straight vertical and also straight horizontal rows, with slots l6 following the same pattern. Moreover, if desired, the rows of openings or windows I4 may be in straight alinement both vertically and horizontally, with the horizontally disposed slots I6 being arranged in staggered relationship. By arranging the openings or windows I4 in horizontal staggered relationship, a certain amount of space will be conserved and thus the composite card I I3 may be of smaller size than where the openings or windows are arranged in straight vertical and straight horizontal lines.
