My instant invention relates to row boats and has for its object to provide a pin type oar lock which may be readily feathered.

From the foregoing specification it will become apparent that the invention disclosed will adequately accomplish the functions for which it has been designed and in an economical manner and that its simplicity, accuracy and ease of operation are such as to provide a relatively inexpensive device considering what it will accomplish and that it will find an important place in the art to which it appertains when once placed on the market.
It is thought that persons skilled in the art to which the invention relates will be able to obtain a clear understanding of the invention after considering the description in connection with the drawings. Therefore, a more lengthy description is regarded as unnecessary,

Having now described the invention that which is claimed to be new and desired to be procured by Letters Patent is:
1. In a device as described an outer ring, an intermediate ring and an inner ring for supporting an oar, said intermediate ring rotatable .upon the outer ring, said outer ring being formed in segments and provided with an inner channel in which the intermediate ring seats, means whereby the inner ring is the intermediate ring, said means comprising a pair of pivot .pins threaded into the inner and intermediate rings, said segments being hingedly connected, means for locking the same into a ring, a spindle supporting the outer ring, means carried by the spindle for securing the same in a socket, said last means including'a release for the spindle.

In a device as described an outer ring, an intermediate ring and an inner ring for supporting an oar, said intermediate ring rotatable upon the outer ring, said outer ring being formed in segments and provided with an inner channel in which the intermediate ring seats, means whereby the inner ring is supported by the intermediate ring, said means comprising a pair of pivot pins threaded into the inner and intermediate rings, said segments being hingedly connected, and means for locking the same into a ring.

In a device as described an outer ring, an intermediate ring and an inner ring for supporting an oar, said intermediate ring rotatable upon the outer ring, said outer ring being formed in segments and provided with an inner channel in which the intermediate ring seats, means whereby the inner ring is supported by the intermediate ring, said means comprising a pair of pivot pins threadedinto the inner and intermediate rings, said segments being hingedly connected.

In a device as described an outer ring, an intermediate ring and an inner ring for supporting'an oar, said intermediate ring rotatable upon the outer ring, said outer ring being formed in segments and provided with an inner channel in which the intermediate ring seats, means whereby the inner ring is supported by the intermediate ring, said means comprising a pair of pivot pins threaded into the inner and intermediate rings.
