(01. 2-43) This invention relates'to garment construction, and particularly to the crotch construction of women's body-supporting garments; panty-girdles and the'like usually made 'of relatively heavy, yieldable or elastic body-com pressing and body-conforming material which does not lend itself readily to'crotch construction and which would be impractical from the standpoint of comfort and adaptability to use of the garment if'extended in the crotch.

In a preferred embodiment, though not limited thereto, the invention comprises a crotch for wolapping portions inside the leg tending free extensions or tabs provided with fastening means having complements upon adjacent portions of the garment, the complemental'fastentabs to maintain the members of the crotch structure in overlappin olosed'condition, and exerting and thefbody of thegrament to provide an uplift at the crotch, and members arranged interiorly of the crotch structure, and securedto the inner overlapping portion adjacent to its front and rear extremities, towhich a body-contacting protection cloth or the like may be removably attached, all as will be explained hereinafter more full and finally claimed. i
