Having thus described my invention, what I claim asnew, and desire to secure by United States Letters Patent is:

1, A two piece waistline belt, comprising a straight top belt section Of cylindrical form for attachment to the bottom edge of the bodice portion of a garment, and a substantially arcuate bottom belt section having its concaved side stitched to the free bottom edge of said top section and its convexed side flared downwards and outwards for attachment to the top edge of the skirt, portion of said garment which has itstop portion flared downwards and outwards.

2.-A two piece waistline belt, comprising a straight top belt section of cylindrical form for attachment to the bottom edge of the bodice por-. tion of a garment, and a substantially arcuate bottom belt section having its concaved side stitched to the free bottom edge of said top section and its convexed side flared downwards and outwards for attachment to the top edge of the skirt portion of said garment whichhas its top portion flared downwards and outwards, and

' means for controlling the downwardand outward flaring of saidbottom belt section to correspondingly control the flaring of theskirt portion when attached thereto. v

3. A two piece waistline belt, comprising a straight'top belt section of cylindrical form for attachment to the bottom edge of the bodice portion of a garment, and a substantially arcuate bottom belt section having its concaved side stitched to the free bottom edge of said top section and its convexed side flared downwards and outwards for attachment to the top edge of the skirt portion of said garment which has its top portion flared downwards and outwards, and means for controlling the'downward, and outward flaring of said bottom belt section to correspondingly control the flaring of the skirt portion when attached thereto, comprising lining ma,- terial extended along the back face of said bottom belt section, vertically spaced horizontal tubular tended along the back face of said draw string removably engaged through one of said tubular passages.

A two piece waistline belt, comprising a straight top belt section of cylindricalformior attachment to the bottom edge of the bodice portion of a garment, and a substantially arcuate bottom belt section having its concaved side stitched to the free bottom edge of said top section and its convexed side flared downwards and outwards for attachment to the top edge of the skirt portion of said garment which has its top portion flared downwards and outwards, and

means for controlling the downward and outward flaring of said bottom belt section to correspondingly control the flaring of the skirt portion when attached thereto, comprising lining section, vertically spaced horizontal tubularpassages formed in said lining material, and a draw string removablyengaged through one of-said tubular passages, said tubular passages being formed by drawing in vertically spaced areas of said lining and securing said drawn position by means of lines of stitches.

A two piece waistline; belt, comprising a straight top belt section of cylindrical form for attachment to the bottom edgeof the bodice portion of a garment, and a substantially arcuate bottom belt section having its concaved side stitched to the free bottom edge of said'top sec.- tion and its convexed side flared downwards and outwards for attachment to the topedge of theskirt portion of said garment which has its-top portion flared downwards and outwards, and means for controlling the downward and outward flaring of said bottom belt section to correspondingly control the flaring of the skirt portion when attached thereto, comprising lining material extended along the back face of said bottom belt section, vertically spaced horizontal tubular passages formed in said lining material, and adraw string removably engaged through one-of said tubular passages, said lining layer being secured to said bottom belt section by means of horizontal lines of stitches disposed between said tubular portions. 7

A two piece waistline belt, comprising a straight topbelt section attachment to the bottom a substantially arcuate bottom belt section having its concaved sidestitched to the free bottom edge of said top section and its convexed side flared downwards and outwards for attachment to the top edge of the skirt portion of said garment which'has its top portion flared downwards and outwards, and means for controlling the downward and outward flaring of said bottom belt section tocorrespondingly control the flaring of the skirt portion when attached thereto, comprising lining material extended along the back face of said bottom belt section, vertically spaced horizontal tubular passages formed in said lining string removably engaged throughone of sa'id tubular passages, said tubular passages being formed with openings at one side thereof and said string being adapted to have its'en'ds projected from the opening in the passages with which it is f ABRAI-IAM; genome.
