Accordingly, the present disclosure makes specific reference thereto. Nonetheless, it is to be appreciated that aspects of the present invention are also equally applicable to other like applications, devices, and methods of manufacture.
  • BACKGROUND
  • Golfers constantly put on and take off their golf glove while playing a round of golf. After a shot is hit around the green, a golfer normally removes their glove to putt and the glove is often stuffed in a pocket. Alternatively, some golfers may hang their glove on their golf bag and this method allows the glove to be easily lost as it is difficult to easily secure a golf glove to a golf bag. In addition, golfers may sweat while wearing a golf glove. However, the glove may not be able to dry as it removed and just shoved into a pocket.
  • Therefore, there exists a long-felt need in the art for a golf accessory device. There also exists a long-felt need in the art for a golf glove belt clip device. More specifically, there exists a long-felt need in the art for a golf glove belt clip device that securely receives a golf glove. In addition, there exists a long-felt need in the art for a golf glove belt clip device that securely receives a golf glove, wherein the glove can be easily accessed and has an opportunity to dry. Furthermore, there exists a long-felt need in the art for a golf glove belt clip device that securely receives a golf glove and can also securely receive other golf accessories, such as a ball marker and a golf tee.
  • The subject matter disclosed and claimed herein, in one embodiment thereof, comprises a golf glove belt clip device. The device is primarily comprised of a base having at least one fastener, a clip, at least one ball marker fastener, and at least one tee holder. The device can be clipped to a belt, golf bag, and/or other structure. The fastener of the base is preferably comprised of a hook or loop fastener that allows the hook/loop area of a golf glove to be attached to the device. The device can then be secured to a belt of a golfer, a golf bag, and/or another structure via the clip. The device may also be comprised of a magnetic fastener that can receive a ball marker and at least one tee holder that receives a golf tee.
  • In this manner, the golf glove belt clip device of the present invention accomplishes all the foregoing objectives and provides a golf glove belt clip device that securely receives a golf glove. In addition, the device allows the glove to be easily accessed and allows the glove to dry. Furthermore, the device can also securely receive other golf accessories, such as a ball marker and a golf tee.
  • SUMMARY

  • The subject matter disclosed and claimed herein, in one embodiment thereof, comprises a golf glove belt clip device primarily comprised of a base having at least one fastener, at least one clip, at least one ball marker fastener, and at least one tee holder. The device preferably has a clip-like shape comprised of a base and a curved member. The curved member is preferably in the form of an angled clip and allows the device to be removably clipped to a belt, a golf bag, or other structure.
  • The base of the device is comprised of at least one fastener located on the front surface of the base. The fastener is preferably a hook fastener or a loop fastener that receives the fastener surface (i.e., the hook surface or the loop surface) of the golf glove. In this manner, the golf is removably attached to the device.
  • The device may also be comprised of at least one ball marker fastener. In one embodiment, the fastener is comprised of a magnet that may receive a metal ball marker. In another embodiment, the device may be magnetic to receive a metal ball marker. The device may also be comprised of at least one tee holder that receives at least one golf tee. The holder is preferably a loop and/or a cylindrical structure.
  • The device may also be comprised of a method of use. First, the device is secured to a belt (or other item or structure) of a user using the curved member. Then, a golf glove may be attached to the fastener via the fastener surface of the glove and removed as needed during use. At least one golf tee can also be placed into and removed from the tee holder during use. In addition, at least one ball marker may be attached and removed from at least one ball marker fastener during use.
  • Accordingly, the golf glove belt clip device of the present invention is particularly advantageous as it provides a golf glove belt clip device that securely receives a golf glove. In addition, the device allows the glove to be easily accessed and allows the glove to dry. Furthermore, the device can also securely receive other golf accessories, such as a ball marker and a golf tee. In this manner, the golf glove belt clip device overcomes the limitations of existing methods of storing golf gloves when not in use during a round of golf that are known in the art.

However, the holder 140 may be any fastener type known in the art such as, but not limited to, a clip, a clamp, a groove, etc.
  • FIG. 4 illustrates a flowchart of a method of using 200 one potential embodiment of a golf glove belt clip device 100 of the present invention in accordance with the disclosed architecture. The present invention may also be comprised of a method of use 200. First, the device 100 is secured to a belt 30 (or other item or structure) of a user using the curved member 120 [Step 202]. Then, a golf glove 10 may be attached to the fastener 114 via the fastener surface 12 of the glove 10 and removed as needed during use [Step 204]. At least one golf tee 20 can also be placed into and removed from the tee holder 140 during use [Step 206]. In addition, at least one ball marker 40 may be attached and removed from at least one ball marker fastener 130 during use [Step 208].
  • Certain terms are used throughout the following description and claims to refer to particular features or components. As one skilled in the art will appreciate, different persons may refer to the same feature or component by different names. This document does not intend to distinguish between components or features that differ in name but not structure or function. As used herein “golf glove belt clip device” and “device” are interchangeable and refer to the golf glove belt clip device 100 of the present invention.
  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, the golf glove belt clip device 100 of the present invention and its various components can be of any suitable size and configuration as is known in the art without affecting the overall concept of the invention, provided that they accomplish the above-stated objectives. One of ordinary skill in the art will appreciate that the size, configuration, and material of the golf glove belt clip device 100 as shown in the FIGS. are for illustrative purposes only, and that many other sizes and shapes of the golf glove belt clip device 100 are well within the scope of the present disclosure.
