    SUMMARY OF INVENTION Technical Problem
  • However, not only a cosmetic item of a color which is consumed in large amounts but also a cosmetic item of a color which is necessary for a user even in small amounts are stored in the cosmetic container, and a capacity of a cosmetic dish serving as a base is sometimes too much to use up. Even for the cosmetic item of such a color, the user has no other choice but to use the cosmetic dish of the capacity serving as the base. In consideration of this problem, the present invention provides a cosmetic dish with which a user can more freely choose the capacity of a cosmetic item, and a cosmetic container that stores the cosmetic dish.
  • Solution to Problem
  • In order to solve the problem described above, in an aspect of the present disclosure, a cosmetic dish is configured such that a front surface side recessed portion capable of storing a cosmetic item is formed on a front surface side, a back surface side recessed portion capable of storing a cosmetic item is also formed on a back surface side, the front surface side recessed portion and the back surface side recessed portion are formed at positions where the recessed portions are not brought into contact with each other and so that storage amounts are different from each other, and a cosmetic item is stored only in either one of the front surface side recessed portion or the back surface side recessed portion.
  • According to this aspect, it is possible to choose either one of the recessed portions of different capacities formed on the front surface and the back surface and store the cosmetic item, and a user can choose a desired capacity and store the cosmetic item. It is possible to more freely choose the capacity of the cosmetic item. In addition, for a manufacturer, there is no need to prepare as many cosmetic dishes of different capacities as the number of capacities, and it is possible to suppress production costs.
  • In addition, in an aspect, the cosmetic dish is configured by having a border portion that non-uniformly divides a volume into two, such that the front surface side recessed portion is formed on the front surface side of one region with the border portion serving as a border, and the back surface side recessed portion is formed on the back surface side of the other region with the border portion serving as the border.
  • In addition, in an aspect, the cosmetic dish is configured such that engaging portions are formed on both side surfaces at central positions in the height direction, and even in a state where the front surface is an upper surface, or even in a state where the back surface is an upper surface, the engaging portion is engaged with an engaged portion in the horizontal direction.
  • In addition, in an aspect of the present disclosure, a cosmetic container including a cosmetic dish in which a front surface side recessed portion capable of storing a cosmetic item is formed on a front surface side, a back surface side recessed portion capable of storing a cosmetic item is also formed on a back surface side, the front surface side recessed portion and the back surface side recessed portion are formed at positions where the recessed portions are not brought into contact with each other and so that storage amounts are different from each other, and a cosmetic item is stored only in either one of the front surface side recessed portion or the back surface side recessed portion which is arranged toward the upper side, a container body in which the cosmetic dish is stored, and a lid slidably, attachably, and detachably engaged with the container body, the lid for opening and closing the container body, wherein in a fully-opened state, the lid covers at least part of the back surface side of the front surface side recessed portion arranged toward the lower side or the front surface side of the back surface side recessed portion arranged toward the lower side, of the cosmetic dish stored in the container body is provided.
  • Advantageous Effects of Invention
  • As clear from the above description, it is possible to provide a cosmetic dish with which the capacity of a cosmetic item can be more freely chosen, and a cosmetic container that stores the cosmetic dish.

  • DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS
  • Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The embodiment does not limit the invention but shows an example. All the characteristics and combinations of the characteristics described in the embodiment are not necessarily essential to the invention. In addition, in the following description of the embodiment and modified examples, the same configurations will be given the same reference signs, and overlapping descriptions will be appropriately omitted.
  • Embodiment
  • FIGS. 1A and 1B are perspective views of a cosmetic container 1 according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 1A illustrates a state where the cosmetic container 1 is closed. FIG. 1B illustrates a state where the cosmetic container 1 is opened.
  • The cosmetic container 1 is a cosmetic container capable of storing cosmetic items such as eye shadow, lipstick, and face colors, and an applicator that applies the cosmetic items at the same time. As illustrated in FIGS. 1A and 1B, the cosmetic container 1 includes a plurality of cosmetic dishes (30, 30, 30′) that store the cosmetic items in recessed portions, a container body 20 in which the cosmetic dishes (30, 30, 30′) are attachably and detachably arranged, and a lid 10 slidably, attachably, and detachably attached to the container body 20 and opens and closes the container body 20.
  • An applicator storing portion 23 recessed in a rectangular shape is formed in an upper surface front side region of the container body 20, and the applicator that applies the cosmetic items such as a tip applicator and/or various brushes is stored in the applicator storing portion.
  • Regarding the cosmetic dishes (30, 30, 30′), two cosmetic dishes 30 of a relatively large storage amount for the cosmetic item and one cosmetic dish 30′ of a relatively small storage amount for the cosmetic item, that is, three cosmetic dishes in total are used, and stored to form a line in the width direction of the container body 20. Although this will be described later, the cosmetic dishes 30 are reversible, and the cosmetic dishes 30 and the cosmetic dish 30′ are the same as each other but their states are only different from each other. Therefore, hereinafter, except the case where a cosmetic dish in a particular state is specified, these will be collectively referred to as the cosmetic dishes 30.
  • The lid 10 is a cover member that covers an upper surface of the container body 20, and is arranged on the upper surface of the container body 20 and engaged with the container body 20 slidably in the front and rear direction. By sliding the lid 10 in the front and rear direction, the cosmetic container 1 is opened and closed.
  • FIG. 2 is an exploded top perspective view of the cosmetic container 1 and mainly illustrates parts constituting the cosmetic container 1. FIG. 3 is an exploded bottom perspective view of the cosmetic container 1 and mainly illustrates the back surface side of the constituting parts. FIG. 4A is a plan view of the cosmetic container 1. FIG. 4B is a side view of the cosmetic container 1. FIG. 4C is a sectional view taken along line IV(C)-IV(C) of FIG. 4A. FIG. 4D is a sectional view taken along line IV(D)-IV(D) of FIG. 4A.
  • As illustrated in FIGS. 2 to 4D, the container body 20 includes left and right container side surfaces 51, 51, a container front surface 52, a container bottom surface 54, and a middle wall surface 53 provided to extend in the width direction so as to partition a region into a front region and a rear region, the surfaces being respectively configured by substantially flat plates, and a back surface and the upper surface are open.
  • The container body 20 has two spaces including the applicator storing portion 23 configured by the left and right container side surfaces 51, 51, the container front surface 52, the container bottom surface 54, and the middle wall surface 53, and a cosmetic item storing portion 56 configured by the left and right container side surfaces 51, 51, the middle wall surface 53, and the container bottom surface 54.
  • The applicator storing portion 23 constitutes the front region of the container body 20, and as described above, the applicator that applies the cosmetic items is stored in the applicator storing portion 23.
  • In the cosmetic item storing portion 56 constituting the rear region of the container body 20, partition walls 55, 55 extending in the front and rear direction are provided to partition the cosmetic item storing portion 56 at equal intervals in the width direction. In the present embodiment, by the two partition walls 55, 55, the cosmetic item storing portion 56 is partitioned equally into three in the width direction, and the cosmetic dishes 30 are respectively stored in the three partitioned spaces.
  • On inner surfaces of the container side surfaces 51, 51 and the partition walls 55, 55, which form the cosmetic item storing portion 56, cosmetic dish engagement grooves 25 extending in the horizontal direction (front and rear direction) are formed in the middle in the height direction. On left and right side surfaces of each of the cosmetic dishes 30, cosmetic dish projecting portions 31 to be engaged with the cosmetic dish engagement grooves 25 are formed. The cosmetic dish 30 is inserted into the cosmetic item storing portion 56 from the rear side of the open cosmetic item storing portion 56, and stored in the container body 20 by engaging the cosmetic dish projecting portions 31 with the cosmetic dish engagement grooves 25 and sliding forward.
  • The lid 10 is configured by a lid ceiling surface 18, lid side surfaces 12, 12, and a lid back surface 19. In a lower edge portion of each of the lid side surfaces 12, 12, an inner flange portion 13 is formed toward the inside. In the inner flange portion 13, a cutout 14 is provided at a position closer to the front side in the longitudinal direction (front and rear direction). Hereinafter, a front side part of the inner flange portion 13 divided by the cutout 14 will be referred to as a lid engagement projecting portion 15. The lid engagement projecting portion 15 has a larger inward projection amount than a rear side part of the inner flange portion 13 divided by the cutout 14.
  • On outer surfaces of the container side surfaces 51, 51 of the container body 20, lid engagement grooves 21 with which the inner flange portions 13 are engageable are provided over the entire length in the longitudinal direction (front and rear direction). A cutout 22 passing through to an upper surface is formed in each of the lid engagement grooves 21. Of an upper side part of the container side surface 51 constituting the lid engagement groove 21, a rear side part divided by the cutout 22 will be referred to as a container engagement projecting portion 24.
  • In a case where the lid 10 is engaged with the container body 20, the lid engagement projecting portions 15 are inserted from the upper side through the cutouts 22 of the container body 20. At this time, the container engagement projecting portions 24 of the container body 20 are provided to be also inserted through the cutouts 14 provided in the inner flange portions 13. Thereby, the inner flange portions 13 are slidably engaged with the lid engagement grooves 21, and the lid 10 is engaged with the container body 20 attachably, detachably, and slidably.
  • A stopper 27 is provided in a rear end portion of each of the lid engagement grooves 21. Even when the lid 10 is slid to the rear end portions in the lid engagement grooves 21, the lid engagement projecting portions 15 are abutted with the stoppers 27. Thus, the lid 10 does not drop off from the container body 20. In addition, when the lid 10 is attached to the container body 20, regarding the cosmetic dishes 30 stored in the container body 20, back surfaces of the cosmetic dishes 30 are also abutted with an inner surface of the lid back surface 19 of the lid 10. Thus, the cosmetic dishes 30 also do not drop off from the container body 20.
  • In a case where the lid 10 is detached from the container body 20, it is possible to detach the lid 10 by matching the lid engagement projecting portions 15 with the cutouts 22 of the container body 20 and pulling upward and inserting therethrough. When the lid 10 is detached from the container body 20, the cosmetic dishes 30 become attachable to and detachable from the container body 20.
  • On an inner surface of each of the inner flange portions 13, a projection 17 is formed at a position in the vicinity of the lid back surface 19 and separate from the lid back surface 19 (see FIG. 3 ). In a case where a user closes the lid 10, the container body 20 must be relatively moved while going over the projections 17. Thus, the lid 10 is closed with a click feeling at the time of going over the projections 17.
  • A smoothly recessed recess 11 is formed in the center of a front edge of the lid ceiling surface 18 of the lid 10. The user can open the cosmetic container 1 by placing a finger on the recess 11, pushing the lid 10, and sliding the lid 10 rearward.
  • The lid back surface 19 is abutted with a back surface of the container bottom surface 54 of the container body 20 and closed. A bottom surface of the lid back surface 19 is configured to be substantially flush with a bottom surface of the container bottom surface 54. Therefore, in a state where the cosmetic container 1 is mounted while being opened, the bottom surface of the lid back surface 19 is grounded on a mount surface and supports the lid 10, so as to prevent inclination of the cosmetic container 1, and application of a load on a leading end portion of the lid 10 and consequent breakage of the lid engagement projecting portions 15 that lock the lid 10.
  • (Cosmetic Dish)
  • The cosmetic dish 30 will be described in detail by using FIGS. 5A to 5C. FIGS. 5A to 5C illustrate the cosmetic dish 30. FIG. 5A illustrates the front surface side of the cosmetic dish 30. FIG. 5B illustrates the cosmetic dish 30 in a state where the back and the front are reversed by rotating by 180 degrees about the axis of the front and rear direction from the state of FIG. 5A, that is, the back surface side of the cosmetic dish 30. FIG. 5C illustrates a sectional view of the cosmetic dish.
  • As illustrated in FIGS. 5A to 5C, the cosmetic dish 30 has an external shape of a flat rectangular parallelepiped. The cosmetic dish projecting portions 31 are provided on the left and right side surfaces of the cosmetic dish 30 at middle-height positions horizontally over the substantially entire length in the longitudinal direction (front and rear direction).
  • On an upper surface 38 of the cosmetic dish 30, a rectangular front surface side recessed portion 33 is formed in a region of about two third of the upper surface 38 closer to the front side. In addition, on a bottom surface 39 of the cosmetic dish 30, a rectangular back surface side recessed portion 34 is formed in a region of about one third of the bottom surface 39 closer to the rear side. The front surface side recessed portion 33 and the back surface side recessed portion 34 are provided at positions where the recessed portions are not brought into contact with each other.
  • As illustrated in FIG. 5C, a border portion 35 existing between the front surface side recessed portion 33 and the back surface side recessed portion 34 and extending in the width direction, in which neither the front surface side recessed portion 33 nor the back surface side recessed portion 34 is provided, partitions the front surface side recessed portion 33 and the back surface side recessed portion 34 as a partition. By formation of the front surface side recessed portion 33 and the back surface side recessed portion 34, thicknesses of both the six surfaces constituting the cosmetic dish 30 and the border portion 35 are substantially fixed.
  • The front surface side recessed portion 33 and the back surface side recessed portion 34 are provided to store the cosmetic item. The cosmetic dish 30 is stored in the container body 20 while storing the cosmetic item in either one of the front surface side recessed portion 33 and the back surface side recessed portion 34, and placing the storing recessed portion on the upper surface side and on the front side.
  • In this way, the cosmetic dish 30 is reversible so that the cosmetic dish 30 can be also used by turning back and both the front surface side and the back surface side can be used. The border portion 35 provided so as to partition the cosmetic dish 30 into a front region and a rear region is provided not at the center of the front and rear direction but closer to either the front side or the rear side in the front and rear direction of the cosmetic dish 30, and non-uniformly divides an external rectangular shape, in other words, a volume of the cosmetic dish 30 into two. The front surface side recessed portion 33 and the back surface side recessed portion 34 are formed to have different capacities from each other. The cosmetic item is charged into either one of the front surface side recessed portion 33 or the back surface side recessed portion 34, that is, the one in which the recessed portion is arranged toward the upper side.
  • The cosmetic dish projecting portions 31 are provided at central heights on the side surfaces of the cosmetic dish 30. Even in a state where the back and the front of the cosmetic dish 30 are turned, the cosmetic dish projecting portions 31 are engageable with the cosmetic dish engagement grooves 25. That is, even when the front surface side where the front surface side recessed portion 33 is provided serves as the upper side, or even when the back and the front are turned and the back surface side where the back surface side recessed portion 34 is provided serves as the upper side, the cosmetic dish 30 is stored in the container body 20 without any problems.
  • In a region on the upper surface 38 of the cosmetic dish 30 where the front surface side recessed portion 33 is not provided, and in a region on the bottom surface 39 of the cosmetic dish 30 where the back surface side recessed portion 34 is not provided, a plurality of (in the present embodiment, three) linear projected portions 32 slightly projecting in linear shapes are provided. The linear projected portions 32 are formed to extend in the width direction orthogonal to the sliding direction of the cosmetic dish 30, and assists in sliding of the cosmetic dish 30 so that when the cosmetic dish 30 is stored in the container body 20, the cosmetic dish 30 is brought into contact with the container bottom surface 54 of the container body 20 and smoothly stored in the cosmetic item storing portion 56. In a case where there are no linear projected portions 32, and when the cosmetic dish 30 is stored, the cosmetic dish 30 and the container body 20 are brought into surface contact with each other, friction is increased, which does not allow to smoothly store the cosmetic dish 30 in the cosmetic item storing portion 56. By the slightly projecting linear projected portions 32, the cosmetic dish 30 is pushed into the cosmetic item storing portion 56 with a slight force.
  • In addition, both the cosmetic dish projecting portions 31 and the cosmetic dish engagement grooves 25 are formed so that a sectional shape becomes an arc shape. Thereby, friction between the cosmetic dish projecting portions 31 and the cosmetic dish engagement grooves 25 is reduced, and the cosmetic dish 30 is smoothly stored in the cosmetic item storing portion 56.
  • It is possible to use the cosmetic dish 30 as a cosmetic dish of different capacities between the back surface side and the front surface side. By using the present configuration, the user can choose the capacity at either the back surface side or the front surface side for each cosmetic item. For example, in the cosmetic container 1 illustrated in FIGS. 1A and 1B, the cosmetic dishes 30 in which the cosmetic item is stored in the front surface side recessed portion 33, and the cosmetic dish 30′ in which the cosmetic item is stored in the back surface side recessed portion 34, that is, the cosmetic dish 30 in a state where the back and the front are reversed are stored in the container body 20. It is possible to store the cosmetic items of different capacities from each other in the container body 20 by the cosmetic dishes 30 without any problems. For a manufacturer who provides the cosmetic items, there is also no need to manufacture a cosmetic dish for each capacity, and it is possible to suppress production costs.
  • When the cosmetic dish 30 is stored in the container body 20 and the lid 10 is engaged, at least part of the region of the cosmetic dish 30 where the recessed portion is not provided is covered by the lid 10. Thus, the cosmetic container 1 in which the lid 10 is opened and closed by sliding is a preferable mode to store the cosmetic dish 30. This will be described in detail by using the drawings.
  • FIG. 6 illustrates a state where the three cosmetic dishes 30 are stored in the container body 20. Dotted lines represent the lid 10 in a fully-opened state. The cosmetic container 1 in a fully-opened state illustrated in FIG. 1B should be referenced as well.
  • A rear side part of the upper surface 38 of the cosmetic dish 30 where the front surface side recessed portion 33 is not formed, that is, the front surface side of the back surface side recessed portion 34 is provided as a front surface rear side portion 38 a. A front side part of the bottom surface 39 of the cosmetic dish 30 where the back surface side recessed portion 34 is not formed, that is, the back surface side of the front surface side recessed portion 33 is provided as a back surface front side portion 39 a.
  • As illustrated in FIG. 6 , the two cosmetic dishes 30 in which the front surface side recessed portion 33 is set toward the upper side are stored so that the front surface side recessed portion 33 is directed to the front side, and the front surface rear side portion 38 a is directed to the rear side. The one cosmetic dish 30′ in which the back surface side recessed portion 34 is set toward the upper side is rotated by 180 degrees and stored with the back surface side recessed portion 34 directed to the front side, and the back surface front side portion 39 a directed to the rear side.
  • The lid 10 is engaged with the container body 20 slidably in the front and rear direction. Even when the lid 10 is at a fully-opened position, part of the lid 10 covers a rear side portion of the container body 20. Thus, a part of the cosmetic dish 30 arranged on the rear side is covered and hidden by the lid 10. That is, in a state of being stored in the container body 20, the front surface rear side portion 38 a and the back surface front side portion 39 a is covered by the lid 10 in large portions.
  • A large portion of the front surface rear side portion 38 a serving as the front surface side of the back surface side recessed portion 34 which is arranged as the bottom surface of the cosmetic dish 30 and a large portion of the back surface front side portion 39 a serving as the back surface side of the front surface side recessed portion 33 which is arranged as the bottom surface of the cosmetic dish 30′ are respectively covered by the lid 10 even when the cosmetic container 1 is in a fully-opened state. The front surface rear side portion 38 a and the back surface front side portion 39 a are respectively parts where the linear projected portions 32 are formed, and as illustrated in FIG. 1B, the linear projected portions 32 are not exposed but covered by the lid 10 even when the cosmetic container 1 is in a fully-opened state.
  • If the cosmetic dish 30 is stored in a cosmetic container in which a lid is opened and closed by turning with use of a hinge, such as a compact, a part where a cosmetic item is not stored is also entirely exposed in a state where the lid is fully opened. In the cosmetic container 1 in which the lid 10 is opened and closed by sliding, it is possible to suppress exposure of the front surface rear side portion 38 a and the back surface front side portion 39 a which are the part of the cosmetic dish 30 where the cosmetic item is not stored. With the cosmetic container 1 of a type that opening and closing are done by sliding, it is possible to arrange the part of the cosmetic dish 30 where the cosmetic item is not stored at an inconspicuous position, and hide the part by the lid 10. The cosmetic container 1 is a preferable mode to store the cosmetic dish 30.
  • Modified Examples
  • The configuration of the present disclosure is not limited to the above description. Modified examples will be described in detail while using the drawings. The same configurations will be given the same reference signs, and overlapping descriptions will be appropriately omitted. FIGS. 7A to 7C illustrate a second cosmetic dish 130 serving as a modified example of the cosmetic dish 30.
  • As illustrated in FIGS. 7A to 7C, the second cosmetic dish 130 is a cosmetic dish having an external shape of a substantially twice width of the cosmetic dish 30. Similar to the cosmetic dish 30, a front surface side recessed portion 133 is formed on an upper surface 38, and a back surface side recessed portion 134 having a different size from the front surface side recessed portion 133 is formed on a bottom surface 39. The widths of the front surface side recessed portion 133 and the back surface side recessed portion 134 are formed to be twice widths of the front surface side recessed portion 33 and the back surface side recessed portion 34. Therefore, both a back surface side storage amount and a front surface side storage amount of the second cosmetic dish 130 are substantially double with respect to a back surface side storage amount and a front surface side storage amount of the cosmetic dish 30. Linear projected portions 32 formed on the upper surface 38 and the bottom surface 39 are also formed in two rows separated in the width direction. Similar to the cosmetic dish 30, the second cosmetic dish 130 is capable of storing a cosmetic item both in the front surface side recessed portion 133 and in the back surface side recessed portion 134, and is reversible so that both the back surface side and the front surface side can be used.
  • FIGS. 8A and 8B are perspective views of a cosmetic container 101 that stores the second cosmetic dish 130. FIG. 8A illustrates a state where the cosmetic container 101 is closed. FIG. 8B illustrates a state where the cosmetic container 101 is opened. FIGS. 8A and 8B correspond to FIGS. 1A and 1B. FIG. 9 is an exploded top perspective view of the cosmetic container 101. FIG. 9 corresponds to FIG. 2 .
  • As illustrated in FIGS. 8A and 8B and FIG. 9 , the cosmetic container 101 stores two cosmetic dishes of the cosmetic dish 30 and the second cosmetic dish 130 in a cosmetic item storing portion 56. In the cosmetic item storing portion 56 of the cosmetic container 101, only one partition wall 55 on one side exists, and the second cosmetic dish 130 is stored in a space for two cosmetic dishes 30.
  • The cosmetic dish 30 is stored in a container body 120 while storing the cosmetic item in either one of the front surface side recessed portion 33 or the back surface side recessed portion 34. The second cosmetic dish 130 is also stored in the container body 120 while storing the cosmetic item in either one of the front surface side recessed portion 133 or the back surface side recessed portion 134. In both the cosmetic dish 30 and the second cosmetic dish 130 illustrated in FIGS. 8A and 8B and FIG. 9 , the front surface side recessed portion 33 and the front surface side recessed portion 133 serve as upper surfaces. However, a user can also choose that the cosmetic item is stored in the back surface side recessed portion 34 in the cosmetic dish 30 and the cosmetic item is stored in the front surface side recessed portion 133 in the second cosmetic dish 130.
  • In this way, the second cosmetic dish 130 having a twice width may be used. Thereby, the number of choices of a cosmetic item capacity that the user can choose is increased, and the number of variations of a combination between the color and the capacity of the cosmetic item is also increased. The user can choose each of the cosmetic items of his/her desired colors with a desired capacity.
  • FIGS. 10A and 10B illustrate still other modified examples. As illustrated in FIG. 10A, a third cosmetic dish 230 having a three times width of the cosmetic dish 30 may be used. In this case, only one third cosmetic dish 230 having the three times width is stored in a cosmetic item storing portion 56 in which there is no partition wall 55. Similarly, a fourth cosmetic dish 330 having a 1.5 times width of the cosmetic dish 30 illustrated in FIG. 10B may be used. In this case, two fourth cosmetic dishes 330 having the 1.5 times width of the cosmetic dish 30 are stored in a cosmetic item storing portion 56.
  • In addition, it is also a preferable mode that in the container body 20, the partition wall 55 is not provided and the cosmetic dishes are inserted into the cosmetic item storing portion 56 as they are.
  • In the present embodiment, the border portion 35 of the cosmetic dish 30 is provided at a position with which the volume of the cosmetic dish 30 is divided at 1:2 in the front and rear direction. The present invention is not limited to this but the border portion 35 may be arranged at a position closer to the front side or the rear side as long as the ratio of the capacities between the front surface side recessed portion 33 and the back surface side recessed portion 34 is not 1:1. In addition, a shape of the border portion 35 is not limited to a straight line but may be a wavy shape or be inclined.
