Abstract

A waste receiving glove, including a main body to be worn on at least a portion of at least one hand of a user, and a wipe removably connected to at least a portion of the main body to absorb and collect waste of an animal thereon.

Description

    BACKGROUND 1. Field
  • The present general inventive concept relates generally to a glove, and particularly, to a waste receiving glove.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • Pets are popular animal companions for many people. People enjoy bringing their pets to various locations, such as stores, malls, and/or parks. However, bringing a pet to any location increases likelihood of an accident occurring. Specifically, the pet will need to excrete waste, such as feces and/or urine.
  • Most owners will have to use a regular wipe, such as a paper towel and/or a bag to collect the waste of the pet. These types of wipes can easily leak and/or tear. Moreover, using the regular wipe increases a likelihood of an owner coming into contact with the waste that can be both unhygienic and/or carries a risk of spreading a pathogen (e.g., bacteria, virus, parasite, fungi).
  • Therefore, there is a need for a waste receiving glove to facilitate collection of waste protect the owner from exposure to the waste.
  • SUMMARY
  • The present general inventive concept provides a waste receiving glove.
  • Additional features and utilities of the present general inventive concept will be set forth in part in the description which follows and, in part, will be obvious from the description, or may be learned by practice of the general inventive concept.
  • The foregoing and/or other features and utilities of the present general inventive concept may be achieved by providing a waste receiving glove, including a main body to be worn on at least a portion of at least one hand of a user, and a wipe removably connected to at least a portion of the main body to absorb and collect waste of an animal thereon.
  • The main body may include a palm portion to receive a palm of the at least one hand therein, a thumb portion disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion to receive a thumb of the at least one hand therein, an index portion disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion to receive an index finger of the at least one hand therein, a middle portion disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion to receive a middle finger of the at least one hand therein, a ring portion disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion to receive a ring finger of the at least one hand therein, and a little portion disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion to receive a little finger of the at least one hand therein.
  • The wipe may have at least one of a size and a shape equivalent to a size and a shape of a front surface of the main body.
  • The waste receiving glove may further include a sanitization compartment disposed within at least a portion of the main body to dispense at least one sanitizing liquid on a front surface of the main body in response to an application of force on the main body.
  • The sanitization compartment uses a one-way valve to prevent dispensing of the at least one sanitizing liquid in absence of the application of force.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • Various example embodiments (a.k.a., exemplary embodiments) will now be described more fully with reference to the accompanying drawings in which some example embodiments are illustrated. In the FIGURES, the thicknesses of lines, layers and/or regions may be exaggerated for clarity.
  • Accordingly, while example embodiments are capable of various modifications and alternative forms, embodiments thereof are shown by way of example in the figures and will herein be described in detail. It should be understood, however, that there is no intent to limit example embodiments to the particular forms disclosed, but on the contrary, example embodiments are to cover all modifications, equivalents, and alternatives falling within the scope of the disclosure. Like numbers refer to like/similar elements throughout the detailed description.
  • It is understood that when an element is referred to as being “connected” or “coupled” to another element, it can be directly connected or coupled to the other element or intervening elements may be present. In contrast, when an element is referred to as being “directly connected” or “directly coupled” to another element, there are no intervening elements present. Other words used to describe the relationship between elements should be interpreted in a like fashion (e.g., “between” versus “directly between,” “adjacent” versus “directly adjacent,” etc.).
  • The terminology used herein is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of example embodiments. As used herein, the singular forms “a,” “an” and “the” are intended to include the plural forms as well, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise. However, should the present disclosure give a specific meaning to a term deviating from a meaning commonly understood by one of ordinary skill, this meaning is to be taken into account in the specific context this definition is given herein.

  • FIG. 1 illustrates a front perspective view of a waste receiving glove 100, according to an exemplary embodiment of the present general inventive concept.
  • The waste receiving glove 100 may be constructed from at least one of rubber, metal, plastic, silicone, cloth, and textile, etc., but is not limited thereto.
  • The waste receiving glove 100 may include a main body 110, a wipe 120, and a sanitization compartment 130, but is not limited thereto.
  • Referring to FIG. 1 , the main body 110 is illustrated to be a fingered glove. However, the main body 110 may be a mitten, a fingerless glove, a plastic handle to slide a hand inside that wraps between a pink and any pointer finger, etc., but is not limited thereto. The main body 110 may be of any predetermined size, such as small, medium (i.e., size greater than small), large (i.e., size greater than medium), and/or one size fits all. The main body 110 may be worn on at least a portion of at least one hand of a user.
  • The main body 110 may include a palm portion 111, a thumb portion 112, an index portion 113, a middle portion 114, a ring portion 115, a little portion 116, and a wrist portion 117, but is not limited thereto.
  • The palm portion 111 may receive a palm of the at least one hand of the user therein. Thus, the palm portion 111 may cover the palm of the at least one hand.
  • The thumb portion 112 may be disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion 111. Additionally, the thumb portion 112 may extend a first distance away from the palm portion 111 with respect to a first direction. As such, the thumb portion 112 may receive a thumb of the at least one hand therein. The thumb portion 112 may at least partially cover the thumb of the at least one hand.
  • The index portion 113 may be disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion 111. Additionally, the index portion 113 may extend a second distance away from the palm portion 111 with respect to a second direction. As such, the index portion 113 may receive an index finger of the at least one hand therein. The index portion 113 may at least partially cover the index finger of the at least one hand.
  • The middle portion 114 may be disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion 111. Additionally, the middle portion 114 may extend a third distance away from the palm portion 111 with respect to a third direction. As such, the middle portion 114 may receive a middle finger of the at least one hand therein. The middle portion 114 may at least partially cover the middle finger of the at least one hand.
  • The ring portion 115 may be disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion 111. Additionally, the ring portion 115 may extend a fourth distance away from the palm portion 111 with respect to a fourth direction. As such, the ring portion 115 may receive a ring finger of the at least one hand therein. The ring portion 115 may at least partially cover the ring finger of the at least one hand.
  • The little portion 116 may be disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion 111. Additionally, the little portion 116 may extend a fifth distance away from the palm portion 111 with respect to a fifth direction. As such, the little portion 116 may receive a little finger of the at least one hand therein. The little portion 116 may at least partially cover the little finger of the at least one hand.
  • The wrist portion 117 may be disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion 111. The wrist portion 117 may form an aperture, such that the wrist portion 117 may receive the palm and/or each finger of the at least one hand therethrough. Accordingly, the wrist portion 117 may at least partially cover the wrist.
  • The wipe 120 may include an absorbing article, a cloth, a towel, a sponge, and a paper absorbing material, but is not limited thereto.
  • The wipe 120 may be removably connected (e.g., adhesive, such as tape, glue) to at least a portion of the palm portion 111, the thumb portion 112, the index portion 113, the middle portion 114, the ring portion 115, the little portion 116, and/or the wrist portion 117. As such, the wipe 120 may have a size (e.g., length, width) and/or a shape equivalent to a size (e.g., length, width) and/or a shape of at least one surface of the main body 110. For example, referring again to FIG. 1 , the wipe 120 may at least partially cover a front surface of the main body 110.
  • During use, the wipe 120 may contact waste (e.g., feces, urine) from an animal (e.g., a pet) in response to moving the palm portion 111, the thumb portion 112, the index portion 113, the middle portion 114, the ring portion 115, the little portion 116, the wrist portion 117, and/or the wipe 120 toward the waste. Moreover, the wipe 120 may facilitate collection of the waste by absorbing the waste thereon. Also, collectively, the main body 110 and/or the wipe 120 may prevent contact of the waste by the user.
  • Furthermore, the wipe 120 may be removed after use and another wipe 120 may be connected to the main body 110. Alternatively, the main body 110 and/or the wipe 120 may be inverted inside-out to form a container to keep the waste therein, such that the main body 110 and/or the wipe 120 are disposed of.
  • The sanitization compartment 130 may include at least one sanitizing liquid (e.g., alcohol, soap, detergent, etc.), but is not limited thereto.
  • The sanitization compartment 130 may be disposed within at least a portion of the palm portion 111, the thumb portion 112, the index portion 113, the middle portion 114, the ring portion 115, the little portion 116, and/or the wrist portion 117. The sanitization compartment 130 may dispense the at least one sanitizing liquid on the at least one surface of the main body 110 in response to an application of force (e.g., pushing, pulling) on the palm portion 111, the thumb portion 112, the index portion 113, the middle portion 114, the ring portion 115, the little portion 116, and/or the wrist portion 117. Moreover, the sanitization compartment 130 may have a one-way valve that opens only in response to the application of force. As such, the sanitization compartment 130 may remain closed and/or prevent dispensing the at least one sanitizing liquid in absence of the application of force. Accordingly, the sanitization compartment 130 may increase cleanliness and/or elimination of pathogens of the waste receiving on the main body 110.
  • Therefore, the waste receiving glove 100 may facilitate collection of the waste of the animal. Also, the waste receiving glove 100 may prevent contact of the waste with the user during clean up.
  • The present general inventive concept may include a waste receiving glove 100, including a main body 110 to be worn on at least a portion of at least one hand of a user, and a wipe 120 removably connected to at least a portion of the main body 110 to absorb and collect waste of an animal thereon.
  • The main body 110 may include a palm portion 111 to receive a palm of the at least one hand therein, a thumb portion 112 disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion 111 to receive a thumb of the at least one hand therein, an index portion 113 disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion 111 to receive an index finger of the at least one hand therein, a middle portion 114 disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion 111 to receive a middle finger of the at least one hand therein, a ring portion 115 disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion 111 to receive a ring finger of the at least one hand therein, and a little portion 116 disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion 111 to receive a little finger of the at least one hand therein.
  • The wipe 120 may have at least one of a size and a shape equivalent to a size and a shape of a front surface of the main body 110.
  • The waste receiving glove 100 may further include a sanitization compartment 130 disposed within at least a portion of the main body 110 to dispense at least one sanitizing liquid on a front surface of the main body 110 in response to an application of force on the main body 110.
  • The sanitization compartment 130 uses a one-way valve to prevent dispensing of the at least one sanitizing liquid in absence of the application of force.
  • Although a few embodiments of the present general inventive concept have been shown and described, it will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that changes may be made in these embodiments without departing from the principles and spirit of the general inventive concept, the scope of which is defined in the appended claims and their equivalents.

Claims (5)

1. A waste receiving glove, comprising:
a main body to be worn on at least a portion of at least one hand of a user; and
a wipe removably connected to at least a portion of the main body to absorb and collect waste of an animal thereon.
2. The waste receiving glove of claim 1, wherein the main body comprises:
a palm portion to receive a palm of the at least one hand therein;
a thumb portion disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion to receive a thumb of the at least one hand therein;
an index portion disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion to receive an index finger of the at least one hand therein;
a middle portion disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion to receive a middle finger of the at least one hand therein;
a ring portion disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion to receive a ring finger of the at least one hand therein; and
a little portion disposed on at least a portion of the palm portion to receive a little finger of the at least one hand therein.
3. The waste receiving glove of claim 1, wherein the wipe has at least one of a size and a shape equivalent to a size and a shape of a front surface of the main body.
4. The waste receiving glove of claim 1, further comprising:
a sanitization compartment disposed within at least a portion of the main body to dispense at least one sanitizing liquid on a front surface of the main body in response to an application of force on the main body.
5. The waste receiving glove of claim 4, wherein the sanitization compartment uses a one-way valve to prevent dispensing of the at least one sanitizing liquid in absence of the application of force.
