Abstract

An interchangeable play system for a body of water is provided. The system includes a first tabletop having a planar and circular shape with a top surface. The first tabletop includes first apertures disposed on the top surface of the tabletop that each receive a beverage container and a second centered aperture to receive an umbrella stem of an umbrella. The system includes a second tabletop having a planar and rectangular shape with a top surface. The second tabletop includes a pair of apertures disposed on the top surface of the tabletop that each receive a beverage container. The second tabletop includes a board game disposed between the pair of apertures disposed on the top surface of the tabletop. The bracket includes corresponding apertures having a spring-loaded peg that extends through one of the corresponding apertures to secure a telescoping length of the bracket.

Description

    CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
  • This application claims the benefit of U.S. Provisional Application No. 63/346,466 filed on May 27, 2022. The above identified patent application is herein incorporated by reference in its entirety to provide continuity of disclosure.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a play system. More specifically, the present invention relates to an interchangeable play system for a body of water such as a swimming pool or the like.
  • Pools have not evolved into the present with technology and the capabilities of today's living. People are used to having to leave the pool to get out of the sun or for activities. Pool play is able to bring a wide variety of interchangeable entertainment right into your pool that includes game tables, food and beverage tables, and chairs all with umbrella options. You may now custom design any dream in your home or commercial pool.
  • Businesses that entertain outside lose their customers when they have to leave the pool to seek shade, food and beverage, or want to enjoy an activity. These businesses may now take advantage and increase their revenue. Home pool entertainment will never be the same.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known types of interchangeable play systems now present in the prior art, the present invention provides an interchangeable play system wherein the same may be utilized for providing convenience for the user when using an interchangeable play system.
  • The present invention includes an interchangeable play system having a tabletop, a bracket, and an interchangeable connector.
  • The tabletop includes a planar and circular shape with a top surface. The tabletop includes a plurality of first apertures disposed on the top surface of the tabletop that is adapted to receive and contain a plurality of beverage containers. The tabletop includes a second centered aperture adapted to receive an umbrella stem of an umbrella.
  • The tabletop includes a planar and rectangular shape with a top surface. The tabletop includes a pair of apertures disposed on the top surface of the tabletop that is adapted to receive and contain a pair of beverage containers. The tabletop includes a board game disposed between the pair of apertures disposed on the top surface of the tabletop.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • Although the characteristic features of this invention will be particularly pointed out in the claims, the invention itself and manner in which it may be made and used may be better understood after a review of the following description, taken in connection with the accompanying drawings wherein like numeral annotations are provided throughout.
  • FIG. 1 shows an environmental perspective view of an embodiment of the interchangeable play system.
  • FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of a tabletop of an embodiment of the interchangeable play system.
  • FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of a tabletop having an umbrella of an embodiment of the interchangeable play system.
  • FIG. 4 shows a perspective view of a tabletop receiving a board game of an embodiment of the interchangeable play system.
  • FIG. 5 shows an environmental view of a tabletop receiving a board game in a pool of an embodiment of the interchangeable play system.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Reference is made herein to the attached drawings. Like reference numerals are used throughout the drawings to depict like or similar elements of the interchangeable play system. The figures are intended for representative purposes only and should not be considered to be limiting in any respect.
  • FIG. 1 shows an environmental perspective view of an interchangeable play system 100 being used in a swimming pool 100A, although the interchangeable play system 100 may be utilized in any body of water.
  • FIG. 1 more specifically illustrates four interchangeable play systems 100 used in a swimming pool 100A.
  • FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of a tabletop 110 of an embodiment of the interchangeable play system 100.
  • The interchangeable play system 100 may include a tabletop 110, a bracket 120, and an interchangeable connector 130.
  • The tabletop 110 may include a planar and circular shape 110A with a top surface 110B. The tabletop 110 may include a plurality of first apertures 112 disposed on the top surface 110B of the tabletop 110 that is adapted to receive and contain a plurality of beverage containers 114. The tabletop 110 may be made of solid plastic material, carbon fiber material, UV20 rated resin material or the like.
  • The bracket 120 may be a single horizontal J-shape tube 120A or the like. In an alternate embodiment the bracket 120 may be a single vertical tube. The bracket 120 may have a first end 120B, a second end 120C, a horizontal portion 120D, and a vertical portion 120E. The first end 120B of the bracket 120 may be attached to a bottom portion 110B of the tabletop 110. The bracket 120 may include a plurality of corresponding apertures 124 disposed on the horizontal portion 120D of the bracket 120. The corresponding apertures 124 may include a spring-loaded peg 126 that extends through one of the corresponding apertures 124 to secure a telescoping length of the bracket 120. The second end 120C of the bracket 120 may be attached to a pool wall (not shown) or other vertical or horizontal surface or the like. The bracket 120 may be made of metal or the like.
  • The interchangeable connector 130 may support attaching the second end 120C of the bracket 120 to a pool wall (not shown), a pool floor (not shown) or other vertical or horizontal surface or the like. The interchangeable connector 130 may have a conical shape 130A having a plurality of apertures 132 disposed on the interchangeable connector 130 to accommodate each of a plurality of fasteners 134 to secure the interchangeable connector 130 to the pool wall (not shown) or other vertical or horizontal surface or the like. The fasteners 134 may be a plurality of retractable pins 134A or the like.
  • FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of a tabletop 110 having an umbrella 118 of an embodiment of the interchangeable play system.
  • The tabletop 110 may include a second centered aperture 116 adapted to receive an umbrella stem 118A of an umbrella 118 or the like. In an alternate embodiment the tabletop 110 may be used without an umbrella
  • The bracket 120 may include a telescoping bracket 120F that may telescope outward vertically and horizontally or the like. More specifically, the horizontal portion (FIG. 2, 120D) of the bracket 120 may extend horizontally outward and the vertical portion (FIG. 2, 120E) of the bracket 120 may extend vertically outward.
  • The interchangeable connector 130 may enable a pivotal adjustment of the bracket 120 and the tabletop 110.
  • FIG. 4 shows a perspective view of a tabletop 210 receiving a board game 215 of an embodiment of the interchangeable play system 200.
  • The interchangeable play system 200 may include a tabletop 210, a bracket 220, and an interchangeable connector 230.
  • The tabletop 210 may include a planar and rectangular shape 210A with a top surface 210B. The tabletop 210 may include a pair of apertures 214 disposed on the top surface 210B of the tabletop 210 that is adapted to receive and contain each individual of a plurality of beverage containers (not shown). The tabletop 210 may include a board game 215 disposed between the pair of apertures 214 disposed on the top surface 210B of the tabletop 210. The tabletop 210 may be made of solid plastic material, carbon fiber material, UV20 rated resin material or the like.
  • The board game 215 may be a chess board game 215A or the like and include all pieces involved in playing on the board game 215.
  • FIG. 4 illustrates the board game 215 being a chess board game 215A, which is also illustrated in FIG. 5 .
  • The bracket 220 may have the same features that the bracket 120 in FIGS. 1-3 has.
  • The interchangeable connector 230 may have the same features that the interchangeable connector 130 in FIGS. 1-3 has.
  • FIG. 5 shows an environmental perspective view of a tabletop 210 receiving a board game 215 in a swimming pool 200A of an embodiment of the interchangeable play system 200.
  • It is therefore submitted that the instant invention has been shown and described in various embodiments. It is recognized, however, that departures may be made within the scope of the invention and that obvious modifications will occur to a person skilled in the art. With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of the invention, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by the present invention.
  • Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the invention. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the invention to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the invention.

Claims (20)

I claim:
1. An interchangeable play system, comprising:
a tabletop having a planar shape with a top surface;
the tabletop includes a plurality of apertures disposed on the top surface of the tabletop;
a bracket having a first end, a second end, a horizontal portion, and a vertical portion;
the first end of the bracket is attached to a bottom portion of the tabletop;
the second end of the bracket is attached to a vertical or horizontal surface; and
an interchangeable connector supporting the second end of the bracket.
2. The interchangeable play system, according to claim 1, wherein the tabletop has a circular shape.
3. The interchangeable play system, according to claim 2, wherein the apertures are adapted to receive and contain a first plurality of beverage containers.
4. The interchangeable play system, according to claim 2, wherein the tabletop includes a second centered aperture adapted to receive an umbrella stem of an umbrella.
5. The interchangeable play system, according to claim 1, wherein the tabletop includes a rectangular shape.
6. The interchangeable play system, according to claim 5, wherein the tabletop includes a pair of the apertures disposed on the top surface of the tabletop that is adapted to receive and contain a second plurality of beverage containers.
7. The interchangeable play system, according to claim 6, wherein the tabletop includes a board game disposed between the pair of apertures disposed on the top surface of the tabletop.
8. The interchangeable play system, according to claim 7, wherein the board game is a chess board game.
9. The interchangeable play system, according to claim 1, wherein the tabletop is made of a material selected from the group consisting of solid plastic material, carbon fiber material, or UV20 rated resin material.
10. The interchangeable play system, according to claim 1, wherein the bracket includes a plurality of corresponding apertures disposed on the horizontal portion of the bracket.
11. The interchangeable play system, according to claim 10, wherein the corresponding apertures include a spring-loaded peg that extends through one of the corresponding apertures to secure a telescoping length of the bracket.
12. The interchangeable play system, according to claim 1, wherein the horizontal portion of the bracket extends horizontally outward and the vertical portion of the bracket extends vertically outward.
13. The interchangeable play system, according to claim 1, wherein the interchangeable connector enables a pivotal adjustment of the bracket and the tabletop.
14. The interchangeable play system, according to claim 1, wherein the bracket is a single horizontal J-shape tube.
15. The interchangeable play system, according to claim 1, wherein the bracket is made of metal.
16. The interchangeable play system, according to claim 1, wherein the second end of the bracket is attached to a pool wall.
17. The interchangeable play system, according to claim 1, wherein the second end of the bracket is attached to a pool floor.
18. The interchangeable play system, according to claim 1, wherein the interchangeable connector includes a plurality of apertures disposed on the interchangeable connector to accommodate each of a plurality of fasteners to secure the interchangeable connector to the vertical surface or the horizontal surface.
19. The interchangeable play system, according to claim 18, wherein the fasteners are a plurality of retractable pins.
20. The interchangeable play system, according to claim 18, wherein the interchangeable connector has a conical shape.
