Description

    CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION
  • The present application claims priority to Korean Patent Application No. 20-2020-0004238, filed Nov. 23, 2020, the entire contents of which is incorporated herein for all purposes by this reference.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Field of the Invention
  • The present disclosure relates generally to a women's top garment. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a women's top garment with a detachable pad, wherein pads are provided on an inner surface of the top garment, so that only wearing the top garment without a bra prevents a woman's breast line and nipples from showing through, and the pads are configured to be attachable and detachable by being adjusted in position according to a wearer's body.
  • Description of the Related Art
  • In general, a bra, which is the most basic undergarment that wraps around and protects a woman's breasts, consists of two cups that encapsulate the breasts, shoulder straps that hold the cups in place, and a chest band, and each cup is configured by inserting a pad having a certain thickness inside fabric. These bras are a necessity for all women and are always worn during daily life as well as at work.
  • However, wearing a bra is problematic in that the breasts are tightened and compressed by the shoulder straps and the chest band, and since the bra is worn underneath a top garment, sweating is caused in hot weather thus leading to a skin rash.
  • Accordingly, many women go braless at home where they feel free from the gaze of other people, and some people prefer to go braless and only wear top garments even when going out.
  • However, when wearing only a top garment without a bra, if the fabric of the top garment is thin, there is a problem in that a woman's breast line and nipples can show through the top garment.
  • In an effort to solve this problem, in Korean Utility Model Registration No. 20-0380099, Korean Utility Model Registration No. 20-0491555, Korean Patent No. 10-0817304, and Korean Patent No. 10-2052858, a woman's top garment has been proposed, in which pads that cover a wearer's breasts are provided on an inner surface of the top garment to prevent a wearer's breast line and nipples from showing through.
  • However, such a women's top garment has a shape in which the pads are integrated to the inner surface of the top garment by sewing or the like, and thus is problematic in that the pads cannot properly cover the wearer's breasts depending on the wearer's body size, i.e., the size or position of the breasts.
  • Meanwhile, in Korean Utility Model Registration No. 20-0491927, a structure in which breast cover pads are not configured integrally with a top garment, but pockets are formed on an inner surface of the top garment and the pads are inserted into the pockets has been disclosed. However, this structure is also problematic in that the position where the pads are mounted is limited, so that the wearer may experience an uncomfortable fit depending on the size or position of the breasts, and the mounted pads are not completely fixed to the inner surface of the top garment, which increases the uncomfortable fit.
  • The foregoing is intended merely to aid in the understanding of the background of the present disclosure, and is not intended to mean that the present disclosure falls within the purview of the related art that is already known to those skilled in the art.

    SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • Accordingly, the present disclosure has been made keeping in mind the above problems occurring in the related art, and an objective of the present disclosure is to provide a women's top garment with a detachable pad, wherein pads are provided on an inner surface of the top garment, so that a wearer can wear the top garment comfortably at home because a wearer's breast line and nipples do not protrude and show through only by wearing the top garment without a bra, and the pads can be detachably installed by being adjusted in position according to the body size such as the position of a woman's breasts.
  • However, the objective of the present disclosure is not limited to the above-mentioned objective, and even if not explicitly mentioned, other objectives or advantages that can be understood from the solutions or embodiments are also included therein.
  • In order to achieve the above objective, according to one aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a women's top garment with a detachable pad, the women's top garment including: an attachment sheet installed on an inner surface of a top garment in an overlapping manner, and configured to be elongated in a left and right width direction of the top garment; a pair of pads each configured to be attached and detached with respect to the attachment sheet by being adjusted in position at a predetermined position on the attachment sheet on the inner surface of the top garment; and a coupling means formed on each of the pair of pads, and configured to detachably couple each of the pair of pads to the attachment sheet.
  • The attachment sheet may be made of a napped fabric so as to provide a soft touch feeling to a wearer's skin, while being easily attached and detached with respect to the respective coupling means.
  • The coupling means may be configured as a Velcro hook sheet installed along a circumference of each of the pair of pads.
  • According to the above, the attachment sheet made of a soft napped fabric is provided on the inner surface of the top garment, and a Velcro coupling means is provided on each of the pads to couple the pad to the attachment sheet by a Velcro fastening method, so that the pads can be attachable and detachable with respect to the attachment sheet. Thus, the wearer can conveniently adjust the attachment position of the pads thus freely installing the pads according to the shape and position of the breasts, so that the top garment is very convenient to use and can be worn with a comfortable fit.

  • FIG. 5 is a perspective view illustrating another form of a pad according to the present disclosure; and
  • FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a use state of the pad illustrated in FIG. 5.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • The above and other objectives, features, and advantages of the present disclosure will be easily understood through the following embodiment by reference to the accompanying drawings. However, it will be well understood by those skilled in the art that the present disclosure is not limited to the embodiment described herein, and can be modified in other forms.
  • In describing the specific embodiment below, various specific contents will be described to explain the present disclosure in more detail and to aid understanding. In addition, in following description of the present disclosure, it should be mentioned in advance that descriptions of portions that are commonly known and have no relation to the present disclosure will omitted in order to explicitly explain the present disclosure.
  • Hereinafter, an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4.
  • A women's top garment 1 with a detachable pad according to the present disclosure is configured to include a top garment 10, an attachment sheet 20, and a pad 30.
  • As illustrated in the drawings, the top garment 10 is configured as a pajama top with sleeves 15. The top garment 10 is configured so that a front fabric panel and a back fabric panel overlap with each other, and opposed side ends and opposed shoulder portions thereof are joined together, respectively, by sewing to be worn on a wearer's upper body.
  • However, in the present disclosure, the top garment 10 is not limited to a pajama top. For example, the top garment 10 may be configured as various women's tops such as a T-shirt worn when going out, and in addition, may be configured as a sleeve top or a sleeveless top.
  • The attachment sheet 20 is joined to an upper portion of an inner surface of the top garment 10 by sewing so as to overlap with the top garment 10. The attachment sheet 20 is joined on the inner surface of the top garment 10 in an overlapping manner and thus is configured to provide an attachment/detachment surface where the pad 30 is attached and detached.
  • The attachment sheet 20 is configured to be elongated in a left and right direction, i.e., in a left and right width direction, of the top garment 10 so that the pad 30 is attached and detached with respect to the attachment sheet 20 while being adjusted in position. Preferably, as illustrated in the drawings, the attachment sheet 20 is configured to have the same width as a left and right width of the top garment 10 so that upper and lower ends of the attachment sheet 20 are joined on an inner surface of the front fabric panel of the top garment 10 by sewing, and opposite side ends of the attachment sheet 20 are joined to opposite sewing portions (seam portions) of the front and back fabric panels constituting the top garment 10 by sewing.
  • In the present disclosure, the pad 30 is attached and detached with respect to the attachment sheet 20, and an area where no pads 30 are attached comes into contact with the upper body skin. Thus, the attachment sheet 20 is preferably made of a napped fabric so as to provide a soft touch feeling to the skin, while being able to be easily attached and detached with respect to a coupling means 35 provided on the pad 30, by a Velcro fastening method.
  • In the present disclosure, the attachment sheet 20 is made of a napped fabric with a nap on one side, so that an unnapped side thereof overlaps with the top garment 10 to be in close contact therewith, and a napped side thereof is detachably coupled to the coupling means 35 provided on the pad 30, by a Velcro fastening method.
  • In the present disclosure, the attachment sheet 20 may be made of various napped fabrics, but is made of a Lylex fabric that is obtained by napping a polyester fabric so as to have a very soft texture and can faithfully perform the function as a Velcro loop surface.
  • A pair of pads 30 are provided, and are configured to be attached to the attachment sheet 20 by being adjusted in position, so that when the top garment 10 is worn, the pair of pads 30 cover a wearer's breasts to conceal a wearer's breast line and nipples and prevent the same from protruding and showing through the top garment 10.
  • In the present disclosure, the pads 30 have the shape of a triangle with curved sides, but the shape of the pads 30 may vary.
  • In the present disclosure, the coupling means 35 is installed along the circumference of a front surface of the each of the pads 30. The respective coupling means 35 are detachably coupled to the attachment sheet 20 so that the pads 30 are attached and detached with respect to the attachment sheet 20.
  • The coupling means 35 is coupled to the attachment sheet 20 by a Velcro fastening method, and in the present disclosure, the coupling means 35 is configured as a Velcro hook member.
  • A conventional Velcro means is composed of a rough hook sheet and a soft loop sheet so that the hook sheet and the loop sheet are coupled and separated from each other, and is also called a snap. In the present disclosure, the coupling means 35 is configured as a Velcro hook sheet, and the attachment sheet 20 made of a napped fabric functions as a Velcro loop sheet so that the coupling means 35 can be attached and detached with respect to the attachment sheet 20 by a Velcro fastening method.
  • In the present disclosure, the coupling means 35 may be configured as a Velcro hook sheet that continues along the circumference of the front surface of each of the pads 30 in a ring-shape. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, as illustrated in FIG. 3, a plurality of coupling means 35 may be provided and arranged at a predetermined interval along the circumference of the pad 30.
  • Each of the pads 30 is made of a three-layer pad material, including a front sheet 31 made of a TR fabric obtained by blending or mixing polyester and viscose rayon fibers, a rear sheet 33 made of a TC fabric obtained by blending or mixing polyester and cotton fibers, and an intermediate sheet 34 interposed between the front sheet 31 and the rear sheet 33 and made of a non-woven fabric.
  • The women's top garment according to the present disclosure having the above configuration is configured so that each of the pads 30 is attached to the attachment sheet 20 installed on the inner surface of the top garment 10 by being freely adjusted in position within the entire area of the attachment sheet 20. Thus, the attachment position of the pads 30 can be adjusted according to the shape, size, and position of the wearer's breasts, which enables the wearer to conveniently adjust the attachment position of the pads 30 and thus to have a comfortable fit, without requiring the need to manufacture the top garment 10 for each size and to separately standardize the attachment position of the pads 30 according to the breast position.
  • Meanwhile, referring to FIGS. 5 and 6, a close contact member 40 may be provided on a rear surface of each of the pads 30 according to the present disclosure, i.e., a rear surface of the rear sheet 33 by protruding along the circumference thereof by a predetermined thickness to make close contact with the circumference of each of the wearer's breasts. The close contact member 40 may function to reduce the degree of compression that acts on a wearer's nipple against the rear surface of the rear sheet 33, thereby increasing wearing comfort.
  • The close contact member 40 has a triangular ring shape to conform to the shape of each of the pads 30 illustrated in the drawings, and is configured to be installed along the circumference of the rear surface of the rear sheet 33 and coupled thereto by means of an adhesive. In addition, the close contact member 40 is made of a silicone material to increase the degree of adhesion with the circumference of the breast, while preventing the wearer's nipple from being severely pressed by the rear sheet 33 through the material thickness, resulting in a further increased wearing comfort.
  • When the close contact member 40 is made of the silicone material, the close contact member 40 may include a plurality of ventilation passages 42. The ventilation passages 42 may be formed through the close contact member 40 to allow the inner and outer surfaces thereof to communicate with each other so that external air enters an inner space of the close contact member 40 to allow ventilation, thereby preventing skin troubles on a central area of the breast, the central area being enclosed by the close contact member 40.
  • While the present disclosure has been illustrated and described with reference to the exemplary embodiment in order to explain the principle of the present disclosure, the present disclosure is not limited to the configuration and operation illustrated and described above. Rather, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and changes may be possible without departing from the technical scope and spirit of the present disclosure. Therefore, all such appropriate changes and modifications and equivalents thereof should construed as belonging to the scope of the present disclosure.
