Thehandle 12 has afirst end 16 and asecond end 18, and thehandle 12 is elongated between the first 16 and second 18 ends. Thefirst socket 14 extends into thesecond end 18 toward thefirst end 16, and thefirst socket 14 has an outward boundingsurface 20 and alower bounding surface 22. The outward boundingsurface 20 has a plurality ofengagements 24 being recessed therein and the lower boundingsurface 22 has aridge 26 extending upwardly therefrom. Thehandle 12 has afishing reel receiver 28 thereon for releasably retaining afishing reel 30 on thehandle 12. - An
extension rod 32 is provided that releasably engages thefirst socket 14 and theextension rod 32 has asecond socket 34 therein. Theextension rod 32 has aprimary end 36, asecondary end 38 and anouter surface 40 extending therebetween. Theprimary end 36 has aslot 42 extending toward thesecondary end 38. Theslot 42 engages theridge 26 on the lower boundingsurface 22 of thefirst socket 14 when theprimary end 36 is inserted into thefirst socket 14 such that theextension rod 32 is inhibited from rotating in thefirst socket 14. Theouter surface 40 flares outwardly proximate thesecondary end 38 to define afirst portion 44 of theextension rod 32 that has a diameter being greater than asecond portion 45 of theextension rod 32. - The
second socket 34 extends into thesecondary end 38 toward thefirst end 16. Thesecond socket 34 has an outward boundingsurface 46 and alower bounding surface 48. The outward boundingsurface 46 of thesecond socket 34 has a plurality ofengagements 50 being recessed therein. Additionally, the lowerbounding surface 48 of thesecond socket 34 has aridge 52 extending upwardly therefrom. A plurality offirst tabs 54 is each coupled to theouter surface 40 of theextension rod 32. Each of thefirst tabs 54 is positioned adjacent to theprimary end 36. Each of thefirst tabs 54 releasably engages a respective one of theengagements 24 in the outward boundingsurface 20 of thefirst socket 14 when theextension rod 32 is inserted into thefirst socket 14. - An
eyelet 56 is coupled around theextension rod 32. Theeyelet 56 has afirst finger 58 curving upwardly from theextension rod 32. Additionally, theeyelet 56 has asecond finger 60 that is curved to form acoil 62 extending rearwardly from thefirst finger 58. Each of the first 58 and second 60 fingers has adistal end 64 and thedistal end 64 of each of the first 58 and second 60 fingers is positioned on opposite sides of theeyelet 56 from each other. In this way a fishing line can be positioned between the first 58 and second 60 fingers thereby facilitating the fishing line to be extended through thecoil 62 without threading an end of the fishing line through theeyelet 56. Theeyelet 56 is positioned on thesecond portion 45 of theextension rod 32 adjacent to thefirst portion 44 of theextension rod 32. - A
fishing pole 66 is provided that has a plurality ofcoils 67 formed therein to define a coiledsection 68 of thefishing pole 66. Thefishing pole 66 is comprised of a resiliently bendable material thereby facilitating the coiledsection 68 to whip thefishing pole 66 when thefishing pole 66 is cast. In this way thefishing pole 66 increases a casting distance of a lure. Thefishing pole 66 has afirst end 69 and asecond end 70, and the coiledsection 68 is positioned adjacent to thefirst end 69 of thefishing pole 66. The plurality ofcoils 67 decrease in diameter between the first 68 and second 70 ends of thefishing pole 66. Thefirst end 69 of thefishing pole 66 has aslot 72 extending toward thesecond end 70. Theslot 72 in thefirst end 69 of thefishing pole 66 engages theridge 52 on thelower bounding surface 48 of thesecond socket 34 when thefirst end 69 of thefishing pole 66 is inserted into thesecond socket 34. - A plurality of
second tabs 74 is each coupled to an outer surface of thefishing pole 66. Thesecond tabs 74 on thefishing pole 66 are positioned adjacent to thefirst end 16 of thefishing pole 66. Each of thesecond tabs 74 releasably engages a respective one of theengagements 50 in theoutward bounding surface 46 of thesecond socket 34 when thefishing pole 66 is inserted into thesecond socket 34. As is most clearly shown inFIG. 6 , acase 76 may be provided that has astorage recess 78 therein for storing thehandle 12, theextension rod 32 and thefishing pole 66. Theextension rod 32 is attached to thehandle 12, and each of theextension rod 32 and thehandle 12 are extended through the coiledsection 68 of thefishing pole 66 for storage in thestorage recess 78.
