  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • FIGS. 1 and 5 disclose a double-sided balance toy (100), comprising:
  • a toy body (1) and a plane (T1) stand (T); the toy body (1) including a head portion (2) having a gradually reduced protruding part (21) disposed at a top end of the toy body; a fulcrum portion (3) disposed at one side of the protruding part (21) and contacted with the plane (T1) of the stand (T) for supporting the toy body (1), wherein the fulcrum portion (3) is a circular arc shape; a tail portion (4) provided on a rear end of the toy body (1) and corresponding to the head portion (2); a left wing portion (5) disposed on a left side of the toy body (1) and extending leftward, wherein the left wing portion (5) includes a left wing tip (51) disposed at a front end thereof and extending downwardly beyond the protruding part (21), and a first weight body (52) disposed in the left wing tip (51); and a right wing portion (6) disposed on a right side of the toy body (1) and extending rightward, wherein the right wing portion (6) includes a right wing tip (61) disposed at a front end thereof and extending downwardly beyond the protruding part (21), and a second weight body (62) disposed in the right wing tip (61); the right wing portion (6) is arranged symmetrically with respect to the left wing portion (5), and the shape and weight are the same; the weight of the second weight body (62) is the same as that of the first weight body (52);
  • wherein the fulcrum portion (3) is defined as a center of gravity of the double-sided balance toy (100) and a distance between the left and right wing portions (5, 6) is defined as a force arm; the double-sided balance toy (100) has a first decorative part (10) disposed on a front side thereof and defined as a first form (A), and a second decorative part (20) disposed on a rear side thereof and defined as a second form (B). The second form (B) is different from the first form (A) in that the top and bottom ends are made into different forms.
  • When the toy body (1) is on the stand (T), the fulcrum portion (3) is located at a center of the left and right wings (5), (6) and the center of gravity is at the fulcrum portion (3), because the first weight body (52) and the second weight body (62) have the same weight, the left and right wings (5) and (6) are balanced, when the toy body (1) is left still in the first form (A), the head portion (2) is heavier than the tail portion (4), so the head portion (2) faces downward and the tail portion (4) faces upward. When the toy body (1) is tilted, the toy body (1) will automatically return to a vertical posture by means of the center of gravity and the left-right balanced structure; when the toy body (1) is rotated in 360 degrees, the toy body (1) also gradually returns from the inclined posture to the vertical posture until it is still.
  • The first form (A) of the first decorative part (10) and the second shape (B) of the second decorative part (20) enable the double-sided balance toy (100) to present a double-sided appearance of the toy and bring different visual pleasure and feelings to the user. The first decorative part (10) and the second decorative part (20) are preferably colored by painting.
  • The tail portion (4) further includes a three-dimensional decorative portion (41) corresponding to the second form (B) for making the second form (B) more vivid.
  • The first form (A) and the second form (B) are that the head and the tail are upside down, that is, the head of the first form (A) is the tail of the second form (B), and the tail of the first form (A) is the head of the second form (B).
  • Accordingly, when the double-sided balance toy (100) is in the horizontal or upright state, the corresponding first form (A) and second form (B) can be presented for the user to clearly recognize.
  • The fulcrum portion (3) is a spherical shape and one side thereof is obliquely connected to the protruding part (21) so that the protruding part (21) does not come into contact with the plane (T1) of the stand (T) but the fulcrum portion (3) comes into contact with the plane (T1).
  • The spherical fulcrum portion (3) comes into contact with the plane (T1) to allow the two-sided balance toy to rotate freely and smoothly, even on an uneven surface.
  • Secondly, the fulcrum portion (3) is a magnetic element, such as a magnet, an object containing magnetic powder, and the stand (T) is a metal body; if the stand (T) is a magnetic element, the fulcrum portion (3) is a metal body; or both the fulcrum portion (3) and the metal block (T2) are magnetic elements, both can be attracted magnetically to each other. By the above-mentioned magnetic attraction, the double-sided balance toy (100) can be prevented from being detached or slipping off the stand (T) under the centrifugal force generated by the rotation.
  • The tail portion (5) includes a counterweight body (42) disposed thereabove. When the weight of the three-dimensional decorative portion (41) affects the balance, the counterweight is balanced to allow the two-sided balance toy (100) to stand on the stand (T) stably.
  • As shown in FIG. 4, the stand (T) is a cone-shaped post having a length (T3) at least greater than a first pitch (101) between a lower end of the fulcrum portion (3) and a lower end of the left and right wings (5, 6), whereby the toy body (1) can be returned from a horizontal posture to a vertical posture. Referring to FIG. 5, the stand (T) is an upright post having a length (T4) at least greater than a second pitch (102) between the lower end of the fulcrum portion (3) and an upper end of the tail portion (4), whereby the toy body (1) can be returned from a tilted posture to the vertical posture and the swinging amplitude of the toy body (1) is relatively large. The toy body (1) not only can swing but also rotates 360 degrees about the plane (T1). Therefore, while rotating, the toy body (1) will also gradually swing back to the original upright posture to produce a fun balance toy effect.
  • The stand includes a metal piece (T2) disposed above a top surface thereof as shown in FIG. 6, and the top surface of the metal piece (T2) is the plane (T1); the metal piece (T2) is a magnetic element such as a magnet, and the fulcrum portion (3) is a metal; or both the metal piece (T2) and the fulcrum portion (3) are magnetic elements, the magnetic strength of which acts more strongly, whereby the toy body (1) can be more easily prevented from falling off the stand (T) under the influence of centrifugal force during rotation. Furthermore, the plane (T1) is a circular concave surface, which can also prevent the fulcrum portion (3) from slipping out when influenced by the centrifugal force during rotation.
  • Referring to FIGS. 7 and 8, the stand includes a gap (T4) disposed below both sides of a bottom thereof for a sweatband of a sun visor (7) to be inserted therein and a groove (T5) disposed on a front side thereof for receiving the toy body (1). The double-sided balance toy (100) can be inserted in the groove (T5) and fixed with a band (8). The stand (T) is Styrofoam body or foam material, Therefore, when the double-sided balance toy (100) is inserted in the groove (T5), it can be directly fixed in the stand or fixed with the band.
  • The above only describes some exemplary embodiments of the present invention. Those having ordinary skills in the art may also make many modifications and improvements without departing from the conception of the invention, which shall all fall within the protection scope of the invention.
