Or, the housing comprises an upper cover and a lower cylinder, the lower end of the lower cylinder is closed, the outer diameter of the lower cylinder is smaller than the outer diameter of the upper cover, the upper cover and the lower cylinder are connected by welding and the interior of the lower internal cylinder and the interior of the upper cover form the inner cavity, the side wall of the lower cylinder is pressed to form an external thread and a groove, and a waterproof seal ring sets in the groove.
Description
- The present relates generally to accessory for heat insulating cup, and specifically, a lid for vacuum insulation cup.
- Stainless steel insulation cup with internal vacuum cavity has been widely used. Because of its insulation effect, this kind of insulation cups is popular. However, the lid of the insulation cup is not insulated by vacuum cavity. As a result, the heat loses through the lid and the insulating effect of the insulation cup body is weakened.
- In order to overcome the aforementioned shortcomings, a vacuum insulation lid has the same stainless steel vacuum structure and the same thermal insulation effect as a vacuum insulation cup body.
- The technical approach of the present invention is: the vacuum insulation lid comprises stainless steel housing, the housing has a vacuum cavity, the housing has an evacuation hole on it, and the evacuation hole has a sealing solder seal block on it.
- The said housing includes a downwardly opening cover and a downwardly opening inner cap, the cover and the inner cover are welded together with an inner cavity is formed between the cover and the inner cap, and the inner cap is pressed to form an internal thread.
- The said cover has a pit on its top and the evacuation hole is located inside the pit.
- The said housing comprises an upper cover and a lower cylinder which are stamped and formed from stainless steel sheet, the lower end of the lower cylinder is closed, the outer diameter of the lower cylinder is smaller than the outer diameter of the upper cover, the upper cover and the lower cylinder are connected by welding and the interior of the lower internal cylinder and the interior of the upper cover form the inner cavity, the side wall of the lower cylinder is pressed to form an external thread and a groove, and a waterproof seal ring sets in the groove.
- The advantage of vacuum insulation lid according to the present invention is better insulation effect. The vacuum insulated lid of the present invention has a vacuum cavity. As a result, both the lid and the vacuum insulation cup body have vacuum insulation effect and the materials in the cup can get a full range of insulation. At the same time, the insulation lid uses stainless steel instead of plastic material to avoid the release of the plastic molecules into the liquid in the cup. Thus, the lid has a higher level of health standard. The stainless steel structure of the lid is also stronger and more durable and uniforms the color of the lid and the cup body.
- The present invention is further described through the figures and examples as below:
-
FIG. 1 is a main cross-sectional view of Example 1 of the present invention; -
FIG. 2 is a main cross-sectional view of Example 1 of the present invention when in use; -
FIG. 3 is a main cross-sectional view of Example 2 of the present invention; -
FIG. 4 is an enlarged view of Part A ofFIG. 1 ; -
FIG. 5 is a main cross-sectional view of Example 3 of the present invention; -
FIG. 6 is a main cross-sectional view (partial) of a vacuum insulation lid of the present invention that comprises of Example 2 and Example 3 when used in conjunction. - Figures: (10) housing; (101) outer cover; (1011) pit; (102) inner cap; (1021) internal thread; (103) upper cover; (104) lower cylinder; (1041) external thread; (1042) groove; (20) sealing solder seal block; (30) waterproof seal ring.
- As
FIGS. 1 and 2 show, the vacuum insulation lid comprisesstainless steel housing 10. Thehousing 10 has avacuum cavity 11, thehousing 10 has anevacuation hole 12 on it, and theevacuation hole 12 has a sealingsolder seal block 20 on it. That is, thecavity 11 is vacuumized through theevacuation hole 12 and using the sealingsolder seal block 20 seals theevacuation hole 12. - More specifically, the
housing 10 includes a downwardly openingouter cover 101 and a downwardly openinginner cap 102. Theouter cover 101 and theinner cover 102 are welded together with aninner cavity 11 is formed between theouter cover 101 and theinner cap 102. For instance, the lower edge of theouter cover 101 and the lower edge of theinner cap 102 are welded together. As such, thehousing 10 forms a double wall sealing structure. Theevacuation hole 12 may be located at the upper end face of theouter cover 101. And, theinner cap 102 is pressed to form aninternal thread 1021. Clearly, theinternal thread 1021 is screwed on the mouth of a cup and the cup has external threads essentially. - Further, the
outer cover 101 has apit 1011 on its top and theevacuation hole 12 is located inside thepit 1011. This facilitates the vacuumization operation of theinner cavity 11. Also, after the vacuumization is completed and theevacuation hole 12 is sealed, the decorative piece may be provided on thepit 1011 to prevent that theevacuation hole 12 is exposed and the sealingsolder seal block 20 is loosed after direct hit, which results thecavity 11 is not vacuum any more. - Thus, the vacuum inside the insulation lid improves the thermal insulation effect of the lid and prevents the more rapid dissemination of internal heat of the insulation cup.
- As
FIG. 3 andFIG. 4 show, the only difference to Example 1 is: the depth of theinner cylinder 104 is slightly higher, such as at least 40 mm. Thus, the vacuum insulation lid not only has the basic function of insulation effect, but also may be used as insulated container and is not too hot to be held. - As
FIG. 5 show, the vacuum insulation lid comprises astainless steel housing 10. Thehousing 10 has avacuum cavity 11, thehousing 10 has anevacuation hole 12 on it, and theevacuation hole 12 has a sealingsolder seal block 20 on it. - Specifically, the
housing 10 comprises anupper cover 103 and alower cylinder 104 which are stamped and formed from stainless steel sheet, the lower end of thelower cylinder 104 is closed, the outer diameter of thelower cylinder 104 is smaller than the outer diameter of theupper cover 103, theupper cover 103 and thelower cylinder 104 are connected by welding, and the interior of the lowerinternal cylinder 104 and the interior of theupper cover 103 form theinner cavity 11. For instance, the lower edge of theupper cover 103 and the upper edge of thelower cylinder 104 are welded together. As such, theevacuation hole 12 may be located at the upper end face of theupper cover 103 or may be located at the bottom end face of thelower cylinder 104. And, thelower cylinder 104 is pressed to form anexternal thread 1041 and agroove 1042. Awaterproof seal ring 30 sets in thegroove 1042. Clearly, theexternal thread 1041 is screwed on the mouth of a cup and the cup has internal threads essentially. - Thus, the insulation lid becomes an inner lid, so that its
lower cylinder 104 is located in the mouth of a cup and further increases the thermal insulation effect of the insulation lid. Of course, the mouth of the cup should have step that theseal ring 30 is tightly pressed against to play the role of waterproof. - Note that, as shown in
FIG. 6 , the double wall vacuum insulation lid as described in Example 2 and the inner plug vacuum insulated lid as described in Example 3 may not only simultaneously be applied onto a cup, but also separately be used on a cup. That is, the inner plug lid is screwed inside the mouth of the cup and the double wall lid is screwed outside of the cup. Thus, not only better insulation effect is achieved, but also while the double wall outer lid is used a container, the inner plug lid still plays the role of vacuum insulation and the industry technical challenge, that a cup has no use of plastic parts, is overcome. - Throughout the description and claims of this specification, the words “comprise” and “contain” and variations of the words, for example “comprising” and “comprises”, means “including but not limited to”, and is not intended to (and does not) exclude other moieties, additives, components, integers or steps.
