Abstract
A slanted guide drawer opening and closing device separately installed to both sides of a front panel of a drawer includes a displacing member installed and passing transversally into a holder, and the displacing member has a first slant surface, and a flipping member with a second slant surface, and the flipping member and the displacing member abut each other through the first and second slant surfaces. The flipping member is flipped to produce a displacement, so that the displacing member produces a transverse displacement. An end of the displacing member is pushed by the flipping member to extend out from the holder and blocked by a stop portion disposed in a drawer cabinet, so that the drawer is situated in a closed status and cannot be pulled out.
Description
- The present invention relates to a drawer structure, in particular to a drawer opening and closing device.
- With reference to
FIG. 7 for a conventional drawer opening and closing device, the conventional drawer opening and closing device comprises a blockingmember 41 disposed on a side of acabinet 4, and apivot member 51 pivotally installed to the front of thedrawer 5; wherein thepivot member 51 is installed to the front of thedrawer 5 by apivot 52, and thepivot 52 is installed at a position other than the center of thepivot member 51, and thepivot 52 controls the pivoting status of thepivot member 51 through atorsion spring 53. Therefore, thepivot member 51 is disposed at the right end portion of thepivot 52 and thepivot member 51 is normally drooped due to its own weight and blocked by the blockingmember 41, so that thedrawer 5 cannot be pulled outwardly (wherein, the direction of pulling out thedrawer 5 is the right side of the figure). To pull out thedrawer 5, a user needs to flip thepivot member 51 upwardly to swing thepivot member 51 to rise to a position in order to separate the blockingmember 41. With the aforementioned structure, a drawer opening and closing mechanism is formed. - However, the core technology of such conventional structure resides on the position of installing the
pivot 52 onto thepivot member 51, and the choice of such position faces several difficulties. Firstly, if the selected position is too close to the middle of thepivot member 51, then thepivot member 51 will be difficult to use its own weight to pivot and normally droop to the blockingmember 41. On the contrary, if the selected position is too near an end of thepivot member 51, then the torque formed by the weight of thepivot member 51 will be too large, so that thetorsion spring 53 may be overloaded and damaged easily. In summation, the conventional drawer opening and closing device requires improvements. - In view of the aforementioned problems of the prior art, it is a primary objective of the present invention to overcome the problems by providing a slanted guide drawer opening and closing device having two slantingly stacked displacing members, and the slant surfaces of the displacing blocks abut each other to produce a change of displacing direction, so as to switch the open and closed statuses of a drawer.
- To achieve the aforementioned objective, the present invention provides a slanted guide drawer opening and closing device, comprising: a cabinet, having at least one set of slide modules installed on both sides of the cabinet and configured to be opposite to one another, and a stop portion disposed proximate to each corresponding slide module; and each slide module having a drawer slidably mounted thereon, and a panel being installed at the front of each drawer, and the direction along the left and right sides of the panel being defined as a transverse direction; and both sides of each panel having an opening and closing device that comprises a first holder, a displacing member and a flipping member; wherein, the first holder is fixed onto the panel, and the first holder has a first through hole formed thereon and penetrating in the transverse direction of the panel, and a control end of the displacing member is movably installed into the first through hole, and the displacing member has a first slant surface tilted in a direction opposite to the transverse direction of the panel; and the flipping member is installed onto the panel and has a second slant surface tilted in a direction opposite to the transverse direction of the panel and having a gradient equal to the gradient of the first slant surface, and the flipping member and the displacing member abut against each other through the first slant surface and the second slant surface, and the flipping member is flipped to produce a displacement, and the first slant surface and the second slant surface abut against each other, and the displacing member produces a displacement along the transverse direction of the panel to extend the control end out from the first through hole or retract the control end into the first through hole, such that when the control end is extended out from the first through hole, the control end is blocked at the stop portion, and the drawer cannot be pulled out from the cabinet.
- Wherein, the flipping member has a virtual pivot formed on a side of the flipping member, and the pivot on the panel is used as a pivoting center to produce a displacement to push the displacing member.
- In addition, the first holder has a limit portion for stopping the flipping member to limit the range of the displacement of the flipping member. The panel includes a second holder disposed thereon and opposite to the first holder and the second holder includes a second through hole penetrating along the transverse direction of the panel; and the displacing member has a guiding end opposite to the control end and passing into the second through hole, and an elastic member is installed between the displacing member and the second holder, and the elastic force of the elastic member is provided for assisting the displacing member to restore its original position after being displaced.

It is intended that the embodiments and drawings disclosed herein are to be considered illustrative rather than restrictive.
- With reference to
FIG. 1 for a slanted guide drawer opening and closing device of the present invention applied to acabinet 1 having at least onedrawer 2, wherein thecabinet 1 has an accommodating space for containing thedrawer 2, at least one set ofslide modules 11 installed to both sides of thecabinet 1 and disposed opposite to one another, so that thedrawer 2 can be slidably installed onto theslide module 11 and pulled out from thecabinet 1 or pushed into thecabinet 1, and a stop portion disposed separately on both sides of thecabinet 1 and proximate to theslide module 11,wherein the stop portion of this preferred embodiment is arecess 12. In addition, apanel 21 is installed at the front of thedrawer 2, and an opening andclosing device 3 is installed separately on the left and right ends of thepanel 21, and the direction along the left and right sides of thepanel 21 is defined as a transverse direction D. - In
FIG. 2 , the opening andclosing device 3 comprises afirst holder 31, a displacingmember 32 and a flippingmember 33. Thefirst holder 31 is fixed onto thepanel 21, and thefirst holder 31 has a first throughhole 311 penetrating along the transverse direction D of thepanel 21, wherein the first throughhole 311 and the recess of the cabinet are configured to be corresponsive to each other. - The
panel 21 has asecond holder 34 disposed thereon and opposite to thefirst holder 31, wherein thesecond holder 34 has a second throughhole 341 penetrating along the transverse direction D of thepanel 21, and the displacingmember 32 is movable installed into two throughholes holders member 32 is in the shape of a triangular prism, and acontrol end 321 with aslope surface 322 is formed on a side of the displacing member and movably installed into the first throughhole 311, and a guidingend 323 is extended from an end of the displacingmember 32 opposite to thecontrol end 321, wherein the guidingend 323 is a slender rod, and the guidingend 323 is movably passed into the second throughhole 341. In addition, an elastic member is installed between the displacingmember 32 and thesecond holder 34, and the elastic force of the elastic member is provided for restoring the original position of the displacingmember 32 after being displaced. In this preferred embodiment, the elastic member is aspring 35 sheathed on the outer periphery of the guidingend 323, and both ends of thespring 35 abut the displacingmember 32 and thesecond holder 34 respectively. If the displacingmember 32 moves in a direction towards thesecond holder 34, thespring 35 will be compressed to produce a resilient force to assist the displacingmember 32 to restore its original position. - The displacing
member 32 has afirst slant surface 324 disposed between thecontrol end 321 and the guidingend 323 and tilted with respect to the transverse direction D of thepanel 21. The flippingmember 33 is installed on thepanel 21 and has asecond slant surface 331 tilted with respect to the transverse direction D of thepanel 21 and with a slope equal to the slope of thefirst slant surface 324. The flippingmember 33 and the displacingmember 32 abut against each other through thefirst slant surface 324 and thesecond slant surface 331 as shown inFIGS. 3 and 5 , and the flippingmember 33 is flipped to produce a displacement. Since thefirst slant surface 324 and thesecond slant surface 331 abut against one another, thedisplacing member 32 produces a displacement along the transverse direction D of the panel. In this preferred embodiment as shown inFIG. 2 , thepanel 21 includes acontrol board 36, and both ends of thecontrol board 36 are coupled to the flippingmembers 33 of the two opening and closing devices disposed on both sides of thepanel 21 respectively, so as to drive the two flippingmembers 33 to move synchronously. A virtual pivot P is formed on a side of thecontrol board 36 due to the suppression and limit effects of afixing portion 22 disposed on thepanel 21. Thecontrol board 36 may use the pivot P on thepanel 21 as the center to pivot as shown inFIGS. 4 and 6 in order to drive the flippingmember 33 to pivot synchronously by using one of its sides as the axis and produce a displacement. Since thefirst slant surface 324 and thesecond slant surface 331 abut each other, the displacingmember 32 produces a displacement along the transverse direction D of thepanel 21. In this preferred embodiment as shown inFIGS. 2 and 3 , thefirst holder 31 further has alimit portion 312 for stopping the flippingmember 33, so that the range of the displacement of the flippingmember 33 is limited. Wherein, thelimit portion 312 is a notch, and the flippingmember 33 includes alug 332, such that when the flippingmember 33 is pivoted to thelug 332 to press thelimit portion 312, the flippingmember 33 is stopped by thelug 332 to limit the pivoting range of the flippingmember 33. - With respect to the movement of the displacing
member 32 in the transverse direction, thecontrol end 321 can be movably extended in the first throughhole 311 to define two statuses, respectively: a status of extending out from the first throughhole 311 and a status of retracting into the first throughhole 311 for controlling the open and closed statuses of the drawer respectively. InFIG. 5 , the propping force of thespring 35 keeps thecontrol end 321 to be normally extended out from the first throughhole 311. Now, thecontrol end 321 is extended into therecess 12 of thecabinet 1, and the drawer is situated at a locked status and cannot be pulled out from thecabinet 1 since thecontrol end 321 is stopped at therecess 12. On the other hand, if a user pulls thecontrol board 36 to drive the flippingmember 33 to pivot, the flippingmember 33 will push the displacingmember 32 to retract thecontrol end 321 into the first throughhole 311. Now, the control end 321 exits therecess 12, and the drawer can be pulled out from thecabinet 1 without hindrance, so as to switch the drawer to the open status. - In summation of the description above, the present invention achieves the expected objective and complies with the patent application requirements, and thus is duly filed for patent application.
- While the invention has been described by means of specific embodiments, numerous modifications and variations could be made thereto by those skilled in the art without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention set forth in the claims.
Claims (5)
1. A slanted guide drawer opening and closing device, comprising:
a cabinet, having at least one set of slide modules installed on both sides of the cabinet and configured to be opposite to one another, and a stop portion disposed proximate to each corresponsive slide module; and each slide module having a drawer slidably mounted thereon, and a panel being installed at the front of each drawer, and the direction along the left and right sides of the panel being defined as a transverse direction; and both sides of each panel having an opening and closing device that comprises a first holder, a displacing member and a flipping member;
wherein, the first holder is fixed onto the panel, and the first holder has a first through hole formed thereon and penetrating in the transverse direction of the panel, and a control end of the displacing member is movably installed into the first through hole, and the displacing member has a first slant surface tilted in a direction opposite to the transverse direction of the panel;
and the flipping member is installed onto the panel and has a second slant surface tilted in a direction opposite to the transverse direction of the panel and having a slope equal to the slope of the first slant surface, and the flipping member and the displacing member abut against each other through the first slant surface and the second slant surface, and the flipping member is flipped to produce a displacement, and the first slant surface and the second slant surface abut against each other, and the displacing member produces a displacement along the transverse direction of the panel to extend the control end out from the first through hole or retract the control end into the first through hole, such that when the control end is extended out from the first through hole, the control end is blocked at the stop portion, and the drawer cannot be pulled out from the cabinet.
2. The slanted guide drawer opening and closing device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the flipping member has a virtual pivot formed on a side of the flipping member, and the pivot on the panel is used as a pivoting center to produce a displacement to push the displacing member.
3. The slanted guide drawer opening and closing device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the first holder has a limit portion for stopping the flipping member to limit the range of the displacement of the flipping member.
4. The slanted guide drawer opening and closing device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the control end of the displacing member has a slope surface formed on a side of the control end.
5. The slanted guide drawer opening and closing device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the panel includes a second holder disposed thereon and opposite to the first holder, and the second holder includes a second through hole penetrating along the transverse direction of the panel; and the displacing member has a guiding end disposed opposite to the control end and passing into the second through hole, and an elastic member is installed between the displacing member and the second holder, and the elastic force of the elastic member is provided for assisting the displacing member to restore its original position after being displaced.
