  • This application claims the benefit of priority of U.S. provisional application No. 61/902651, filed 11 Nov. 2013, the contents of which are herein incorporated by reference.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to organizational devices and, more particularly, to an organizer for kitchen essentials.
  • Current products on the market for organizing kitchen tools, cooking utensils and cooking ingredients take up too much space as they are all sold individually, and so there is no unitary device out there that keeps it all organized. As a result, those who work in kitchens have all their kitchen essentials spread out throughout the cooking area and beyond.
  • As can be seen, there is a need for an organizer for kitchen essentials facilitating a tidy kitchen or cooking area.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In one aspect of the present invention, an organizer station for storing a plurality essential tools, comprises: a cabinet base defining a compartment space, wherein a front portion of the cabinet base forms an access opening to the compartment space; a plurality of hooks provided by the cabinet base; a cabinet top provided by the cabinet base; a cookbook stand pivotably mounted to the cabinet top so that the cookbook stand pivots to a visually accessible position and a prone position; at least one door pivotably mounted along the access opening so as to be positionable in an open position and a closed position encasing the compartment space; at least one door shelf operably attached along each door; a plurality of storage components housed within the compartment space; and a plurality of sub-compartment spaces defined by the compartment spaces and the plurality of storage components.
  • In another aspect of the present invention, an organizer station for storing a plurality essential tools, comprises: a cabinet base defining a compartment space, wherein a front portion of the cabinet base forms an access opening to the compartment space; a plurality of hooks provided by the cabinet base; a cabinet top provided by the cabinet base; a cookbook stand pivotably mounted to the cabinet top so that the cookbook stand pivots to a visually accessible position and a prone position; a stand support for removably securing the cookbook stand in the visually accessible position; a page keeper disposed along a portion of the cookbook stand; at least one door pivotably mounted along the access opening so as to be positionable in an open position and a closed position encasing the compartment space; at least one door shelf operably attached along each door; a plurality of storage components housed within the compartment space, wherein the plurality of storage components comprise at least one upper drawer, at least one interior drawer and at least one shelf; wherein each upper drawer is disposed along a top portion of the compartment space coinciding with a bottom surface of the cabinet top; and a plurality of sub-compartment spaces defined by the compartment spaces and the plurality of storage components, wherein the plurality of sub-compartment spaces comprise at least one under-shelf storage area and at least one book shelf storage area, wherein a top portion of each under-shelf storage area comprises a respective shelf; and a storage space defined by each interior drawer and each respective shelf, wherein the storage space communicates with the adjacent book shelf storage area.
  • In yet another aspect the present invention, a method of organizing kitchen essentials comprises: providing organizer station for storing a plurality essential tools, comprising: a cabinet base defining a compartment space, wherein a front portion of the cabinet base forms an access opening to the compartment space; a plurality of hooks provided by the cabinet base; a cabinet top provided by the cabinet base; a cookbook stand pivotably mounted to the cabinet top so that the cookbook stand pivots to a visually accessible position and a prone position; at least one door pivotably mounted along the access opening so as to be positionable in an open position and a closed position encasing the compartment space; at least one door shelf operably attached along each door; a plurality of storage components housed within the compartment space; and a plurality of sub-compartment spaces defined by the compartment spaces and the plurality of storage components; and removably retaining a portion of the plurality of kitchen essentials in the plurality of storage components, the plurality of sub-compartment spaces and the at least one door shelf.
