Abstract
An electronic cigarette is provided, comprising a cigarette rod configured for receiving an atomizing assembly or/and a power supply, wherein, the cigarette rod is provided with spice sending out aroma. By setting the spice sending out aroma on the cigarette rod, the smokers' need of smelling the smell of the cigarette rod when smoking can be met, and the smoke effect is improved.
Description
- This non-provisional application claims priorities under 35 U.S.C. §119(a) on Patent Application No. 201320384559.X filed in P.R. China on Jun. 28, 2013, the entire contents of which are hereby incorporated by reference.
- The present invention relates to the field of consumer electrical products, and more particularly, relates to an electronic cigarette.
- Electronic cigarettes are mainly used for quitting smoking and substituting cigarettes. At present, a structure of an electronic cigarette on the market generally comprises a cigarette rod configured for receiving an atomizing assembly or/and a battery assembly. The cigarette rod usually comprises a filter tip, an outer sleeve, and a sticker attached on the outer sleeve. The battery assembly supplies power to the atomizer assembly to generate smoke inhaled by users and thereby simulate smoking
- In the prior art, no cigarette taste is added into the cigarette rods of the electronic cigarettes. Thus, users cannot be satisfied by taste that is similar to the taste of real cigarettes when they smoke and smell the smoke, which makes smoking effect be not good.
- A technical problem solved by the present invention is, aiming at the defect that the cigarette rods of the electronic cigarettes in the prior art do not send out aroma of the real cigarettes, to provide an electronic cigarette comprising a cigarette rod sending out aroma. The technical solutions of the present invention for solving the technical problems are as follows:
- The invention provides an electronic cigarette, comprising a cigarette rod configured for receiving an atomizing assembly or/and a power supply, the cigarette rod is provided with spice sending out aroma.
- Advantageously, the cigarette rod comprises a porous filter element mounted on an end of the cigarette rod, and the porous filter element is provided with the spice.
- Advantageously, the cigarette rod comprises an outer sleeve, and the outer sleeve is provided with the spice; or the cigarette rod comprises the outer sleeve and a sticker attached on the outer sleeve, and the sticker is provided with the spice.
- Advantageously, the outer sleeve defines at least one concaves, and the spice is embedded in the concave.
- Advantageously, the spice independently forms a spice layer coated on the outer sleeve, or the spice and the sticker cooperatively form the spice layer coated on the outer sleeve; the outer sleeve comprises an atomizer sleeve and a battery sleeve detachably connected with the atomizer sleeve; and the spice layer comprises a first spice layer coated on an outer wall of the atomizer sleeve and a second spice layer coated on an outer wall of the battery sleeve.
- Advantageously, the electronic cigarette further comprises an adhesive layer configured to adhere the spice layer to the outer sleeve.
- Advantageously, a thickness of the spice layer ranges from 0.5 mm to 3 mm.
- Advantageously, a non-slip layer is formed on the outside of the spice layer, and the non-slip layer is antilubricant coated on the spice layer or concave and convex lines formed on the spice layer.
- Advantageously, the non-slip layer defines meshes configured for enabling the spice to send out the aroma, and shapes of the meshes are one or more of round, oval, and polygonal.
- Advantageously, a coating layer configured to delay aroma volatilization is formed on an outside of the spice layer.
- Advantageously, the coating layer defines meshes configured for enabling the spice to send out the aroma, and shapes of the meshes are one or more of round, oval, and polygonal.
- Advantageously, the coating layer is made of any kind of tipping paper, copper plate paper, plastic paper, and synthetic paper.
- Advantageously, a non-slip layer shape matching with the coating layer is formed on an outside of the coating layer, and the non-slip layer is antilubricant coated on the coating layer or concave and convex lines formed on the coating layer.
- When implementing the electronic cigarette of the invention, the following advantageous effects can be achieved: the spice is configured on the cigarette rod, make external surface of the electronic cigarette send out aroma, and make the electronic cigarette have similar smoking effect as the real cigarette. And the coating layer or the non-slip layer is configured at the outside of spice layer, at the same time, the meshes are configured on the coating layer or the non-slip layer, and can send out aromas and prevent the spice volatizing in large area, so keep the aroma for a long time.
- The present invention will be further described with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments in the following, in the accompanying drawings:

FIG. 5 is an enlarged view of the B portion shown inFIG. 4 . - To make the technical feature, objective and effect of the present invention be understood more clearly, now the specific implementation of the present invention is described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments.
- Referring to
FIGS. 1-5 , the invention provides an electronic cigarette, which comprises acigarette rod 3, and an atomizing assembly or/and a power supply received in thecigarette rod 3. Thecigarette rod 3 is provided with spice sending out aroma. - The spice can be attached on different portion of the
cigarette rod 3. In particular, as shown inFIG. 1 , thecigarette rod 3 comprises aporous filter element 4 mounted on one end of thecigarette rod 3, and the spice is accommodated by theporous filter element 4. Theporous filter element 4 can be directly made of cellulose acetate, sponge or other porous materials, and can also be made of fibers manufactured by pulling polypropylene material. - Referring to
FIGS. 2-5 , thecigarette rod 3 further comprises anouter sleeve 1, theouter sleeve 1 is provided with the spice; or thecigarette rod 3 comprises theouter sleeve 1 and a sticker (not shown), and the sticker is provided with the spice. - The
outer sleeve 1 defines at least one concave (not shown); and the spice is embedded in the concave. - Particularly, the spice can be existing spice, such as Virginia cigarette flavor, Turkey cigarette flavor, or Havana cigar cigarette flavor.
- The spice can also be ingredients extracted from natural spice, that is, the spice is aromatic substances manufactured by processing aromatic parts of animals or plants used as raw materials or separated from the aromatic parts of animals or plants used as raw materials. For example, the spice can be fennel, wild carrot oil, oil of anise (aniseed), cinnamon oil, Chinese cinnamon oil, clove oil, meat cardamom oil, extract, net oil, balm, tincture, such as rose oil, jasmine extract, vanilla tincture, Prynne balsam, spit rash incense resin, Narcissus Net oil, and so on.
- The spice can also be synthetic spice, that is, the spice is aromatic compounds manufactured by using coal chemical products and petroleum chemical products as raw materials and processing the raw materials by chemical synthesis methods. For example, the spice can be ketones flavor, alcohol flavor, esters, lactones flavor, aldehydes flavor, hydrocarbons flavor, ethers flavor, cyanide flavor, and so on.
- A formula of the spice is to adopt wild carrot oil with a mass percentage of 12%, anise oil with a mass percentage 20%, cinnamon oil with a mass percentage of 8%, and clove oil with a mass percentage of 60%.
- When the
outer sleeve 1 is not coated by the sticker, the spice independently forms aspice layer 2 coated on theouter sleeve 1; and when theouter sleeve 1 is coated by the sticker, the spice and the sticker cooperatively form thespice layer 2 coated on theouter sleeve 1. - The electronic cigarette further comprises an adhesive layer configured to adhere the
spice layer 2 to theouter sleeve 1. The adhesive layer can be formed by glue, double faced adhesive tape, or other adhesion ways. - Understandably, when the spice forms the
spice layer 2, thespice layer 2 is embedded in the concave. In this situation, in order to make the outer surface of the electronic cigarette be smooth, a total thickness of the adhesive layer and thespice layer 2 can be equal to a depth of the concave. - A thickness of the
spice layer 2 ranges from 0.5 mm to 3 mm. Advantageously, the thickness ofspice layer 2 is 2 mm. - In order to prevent the electronic cigarette from slipping from hands in water and moist environments, a non-slip layer is form on the outside of the
spice layer 2. The non-slip layer is antilubricant coated on thespice layer 2 or concave and convex lines form on thespice layer 2. - Understandably, when the non-slip layer is coated on the entire outside of the
spice layer 2, the aroma of thespice layer 2 cannot send out through the non-slip layer. Thus, meshes configured for enabling thespice layer 2 to send out aroma are required to be defined in the non-slip layer. Shapes of the meshes are one or more of round, oval, and polygonal. The existence of the meshes can also prevent the aroma from sending out excessively, and durability of the aroma of thespice layer 2 is thereby enhanced. - Understandably, a coating layer can be directly formed on the outside of the
spice layer 2, and meshes can be defined in the coating layer. Similarly, shapes of the meshes are one or more of round, oval, and polygonal. - The coating layer can be made of any kind of tipping paper, copper plate paper, plastic paper, and synthetic paper. Understandably, the coating layer can also provide a certain protection effect to the
spice layer 2. - In order to prevent the electronic cigarette slipping, a non-slip layer coating layer is formed on the outside of the coating layer and matches with the coating layer. The non-slip layer is antilubricant coated on the coating layer or concave and convex lines formed on the spice layer. Understandably, the coating layer can be the outermost layer, that is, no non-slip layer is formed on the outside of the coating layer.
- Understandably, in order to ensure the beauty of electronic cigarette, the outermost layer of the electronic cigarette levels with the outer surface of the electronic cigarette.
- Referring to
FIGS. 2-3 , when the electronic cigarette is integral, theouter sleeve 1 can be an integrated structure. Correspondingly, thespice layer 2 can also be a whole, and the coating layer and the non-slip layer can be an integrated structure. In this situation, understandably, vents should be defined in positions of the non-slip layer, thespice layer 2, and the coating layer that correspond to an air inlet of the electronic cigarette, so that external air is enabled to pass through the non-slip layer, the coating layer, and thespice layer 2 and further enter the air inlet via the vents. Thespice layer 2, the coating layer or the non-slip layer can also be separable from each other, with the air inlet of the electronic cigarette used as the boundary. - Referring to
FIGS. 4-5 , when the electronic cigarette is disassemble, theouter sleeve 1 comprises anatomizer sleeve 11 and abattery sleeve 12 detachably connected with theatomizer sleeve 11. Thespice layer 2 comprises afirst spice layer 21 coated on the outside of theatomizer sleeve 11 and asecond spice layer 22 coated on the outer wall of thebattery sleeve 12. A purpose of setting thefirst spice layer 21 and thesecond spice layer 22 is to facilitate disassembly and assembly of the electronic cigarette and make air enter the air inlet of the electronic cigarette easily. In this situation, a thickness of thefirst spice layer 21 is equal to a thickness of thesecond layer 22. - To sum up, by setting the spice sending out aroma on the cigarette rod, the smokers' need of smelling the smell of the cigarette rod when smoking can be met, and the smoke effect is improved. By setting the non-slip layer with meshes or the coating layer with meshes, aroma volatilization can be delayed, and aroma sending time of the spice can be further prolonged.
- While the embodiments of the present invention are described with reference to the accompanying drawings above, the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned specific implementations. In fact, the above-mentioned specific implementations are intended to be exemplary not to be limiting. In the inspiration of the present invention, those ordinary skills in the art can also make many modifications without breaking away from the subject of the present invention and the protection scope of the claims. All these modifications belong to the protection of the present invention.
Claims (13)
1. An electronic cigarette, comprising a cigarette rod configured for receiving an atomizing assembly or/and a power supply, wherein, the cigarette rod is provided with spice sending out aroma.
2. The electronic cigarette according to claim 1 , wherein, the cigarette rod comprises a porous filter element mounted on an end of the cigarette rod, and the porous filter element is provided with the spice.
3. The electronic cigarette according to claim 1 , wherein, the cigarette rod comprises an outer sleeve, and the outer sleeve is provided with the spice; or the cigarette rod comprises the outer sleeve and a sticker attached on the outer sleeve, and the sticker is provided with the spice.
4. The electronic cigarette according to claim 3 , wherein, the outer sleeve defines at least one concaves, and the spice is embedded in the concave.
5. The electronic cigarette according to claim 3 , wherein, the spice independently forms a spice layer coated on the outer sleeve, or the spice and the sticker cooperatively form the spice layer coated on the outer sleeve; the outer sleeve comprises an atomizer sleeve and a battery sleeve detachably connected with the atomizer sleeve; and the spice layer comprises a first spice layer coated on an outer wall of the atomizer sleeve and a second spice layer coated on an outer wall of the battery sleeve.
6. The electronic cigarette according to claim 5 , wherein, the electronic cigarette further comprises an adhesive layer configured to adhere the spice layer to the outer sleeve.
7. The electronic cigarette according to claim 6 , wherein, a thickness of the spice layer ranges from 0.5 mm to 3 mm.
8. The electronic cigarette according to claim 6 , wherein, a non-slip layer is formed on the outside of the spice layer, and the non-slip layer is antilubricant coated on the spice layer or concave and convex lines formed on the spice layer.
9. The electronic cigarette according to claim 8 , wherein, the non-slip layer defines meshes configured for enabling the spice to send out the aroma, and shapes of the meshes are one or more of round, oval, and polygonal.
10. The electronic cigarette according to claim 6 , wherein, a coating layer configured to delay aroma volatilization is formed on an outside of the spice layer.
11. The electronic cigarette according to claim 10 , wherein, the coating layer defines meshes configured for enabling the spice to send out the aroma, and shapes of the meshes are one or more of round, oval, and polygonal.
12. The electronic cigarette according to claim 11 , wherein, the coating layer is made of any kind of tipping paper, copper plate paper, plastic paper, and synthetic paper.
13. The electronic cigarette according to claim 12 , wherein, a non-slip layer shape matching with the coating layer is formed on an outside of the coating layer, and the non-slip layer is antilubricant coated on the coating layer or concave and convex lines formed on the coating layer.
