Abstract

A memory heatsink set for dissipating heat from a memory module is disclosed to include a first memory heatsink and a second memory heatsink, two guide devices bilaterally provided between the first memory heatsink and the second memory heatsink for positioning during the assembly process of the memory heatsink set and for guiding the first memory heatsink and the second memory heatsink into alignment, and two supplementary retaining devices respectively provided at two ends between the first memory heatsink and the second memory heatsink, each supplementary retaining device having a main engagement opening and two lateral sub-engagement openings located on one end of the first memory heatsink and a main engagement block and two lateral sub-engagement blocks located on the corresponding end of the second memory heatsink for engaging the main engagement opening and the two lateral sub-engagement openings respectively.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates generally to a configuration to detect and control the wireless network inside a building, and more particularly to a configuration that can not only enhance the reliability of linking signals for a wireless network, but also facilitate the nodes within the wireless network to accomplish thereof performance of simple installation and reconditioning.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art
  • As a rule, the conventional configuration to detect and control the wireless network inside a building is to introduce a sniffer to move and measure whether the radio waves are receivable or not; and then follow the use of different location-tagging methods to set up and install the branch nodes of network; nevertheless, thus kind of configuration fails to install multiple nodes at the same time before tagging their locations; moreover, the LEDs traditionally mounted onto the ADSL switch and router are just for indicating the status of power supply and network linking that can not provide the convenience of installation and service at all when desired and compared with the configuration introduced by the present invention; what's more, using the vision or hearing to determine if their mounting action is correct or not is unworkable, either; thus, the service personnel are unable to use their vision or hearing to quickly locate which node is damaged at the time when reported a damage and needed an undertaking of recondition; furthermore, though the sniffer for wireless network is able to inspect if the signal of the current site is linked or not, yet the software and hardware of circuitry designed for sniffer itself may not be necessarily identical to the branch nodes' within the network to be practically installed; consequently, the sniffer-measured outcome can really not represent the correctness of actually installed nodes.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a configuration to detect and control the wireless network in a building that can not only enhance the reliability of linking signals for the wireless network, but also facilitate the nodes within the wireless network to accomplish thereof performance of simple installation and reconditioning.
  • The foregoing objective of the present invention is attained by a configuration to detect and control the wireless network inside a building that fixes the locations of networking device inside the building; wherein, the networking device is comprised of a gateway, a server and a LAN coordinator and installed at the network exit end of the building for the gateway to be linked with the supply device from external network; then a plurality of wireless network nodes, equipped with a transmit/receive unit, a indicating unit and a power supply unit, are taken and irregularly distributed and erected in the building; furthermore, every wireless network node is interconnected to the LAN coordinator while the wireless network nodes are interconnected with one another as well.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
  • FIG. 1, is a schematic diagram of the first preferred embodiment for the present invention.
  • FIG. 2, is a schematic diagram of the second preferred embodiment for the present invention.
  • FIG. 3A, is a demonstration of status with respect to the interrelationship amongst the network, the detection unit and the control unit for the present invention (I).
  • FIG. 3B, is a demonstration of status with respect to the interrelationship amongst the network, the detection unit and the control unit for the present invention (II).
  • FIG. 3C, is a demonstration of status with respect to the interrelationship amongst the network, the detection unit and the control unit for the present invention (III).
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • Referring to the FIG. 1 for a schematic diagram of the first preferred embodiment for the present invention, as shown in the figure: the present invention is a configuration to detect and control the wireless network inside a building that can not only enhance the reliability of linking signals for the wireless network, but also facilitate the nodes within the wireless network to accomplish thereof performance of simple installation and reconditioning through the following steps at least:
    • Step 1: Fix the location of networking device 2 in the building 1; wherein, the networking device consists of a gateway 21, a server 22 and a LAN coordinator 23 at least.
    • Step 2: Mount the networking device 2 at the exit end of network in the building 1; wherein the gateway 21 and the supply device 3 of external network are linked in a manner of cable or wireless transmission for the supply device 3 from the external network to provide a route for the optical cable, ADSL or relevant broadband.
    • Step 3: Take and erect a plurality of wireless network nodes 4 in the building 1 in a manner of irregular distribution while every node 4 within the wireless network is equipped with a transmit/receive unit 41, an indicating unit 42 and a power supply unit 43; wherein, the transmit/receive unit 41 to each node 4 of the wireless network is applicable to the ZigBee Wireless Network Communication Protocol, the indicating unit 42 to each node 4 of the wireless network can be a LED or a buzzer; meanwhile, each node 4 of the wireless network can be established the parameters of measurement for the desired linking quality while these measurable parameters can be the signals (SS), Bit Error Rate (BER), Linking Quality Index (LQI), channel (CH) and the upper limit or lower limit of the Wireless Personal Area Network ID (PAN ID); in addition, each node 4 of the wireless network is interconnected to the LAN coordinator 23 in a manner of wireless transmission while the nodes 4 within the wireless network are interconnected with one another.
  • When putting each node 4 of wireless network into actual practice, thereof indicating unit 42 (such as: the LEDs or the buzzers, etc.) can be utilized to indicate the intensity of signal, the Bit Error Rate, the network channel count, or the linking stability, etc.; thus, a real-time indication about which one of the nodes 4 within the wireless network that is short of intensity for signals is available so that the constructor can make a reinforcement promptly; for example: when the intensity of signal is blocked by the wall 11 in the building 1, another node 4 of wireless network can be established immediately to undertake the reinforcement.
  • When reported any one damaged node 4 of the wireless network for repair, the service personnel can use their vision or hearing to quickly locate the damaged node 4 of the wireless network and carry out the repair accordingly; thus, the target object mounted onto the node 4 of the wireless network can directly reflect the good/bad status of network linking without performing an inspection by detection instrument first to do an installation or repair.
  • Referring to the FIG. 2 for a schematic diagram of the second preferred embodiment for the present invention, as shown in the figure: the present invention, in addition to the foregoing signal reinforcement for linking the wireless network, is also able to take the advantage of each node 4 of the wireless network to accommodate with the multiple number of detection units 5 to detect the spatial and environmental variation within the building 1; for instances: temperature, humidity and pressure, etc. environmental changes; after having performed the relevant detections by the detection unit 5, each node 4 of the wireless network will link to communicate the unusual status measured by every detection unit 5 to the Management Center 6 (for examples: the mobile phone of the resident, the guardroom, the police department and the security center, etc.) via the networking device 2 and the supply device 3 of external network in order to learn the real-time detection with regard to the variation of space and environment and follow to give and feedback the command signals via the networking device 2 and the supply device 3 of external network to the control unit 51 for disposal.
  • Referring to the “FIG. 3” for several demonstrations of status with respect to the interrelationship amongst the network node 4, the detection unit 5 and the control unit 51; wherein, the detection unit 5 and the control unit 51 are configured in the network node 4 for a demonstration of an integral module as shown in the FIG. 3A, the control unit 51 is mounted in the detection unit 5 and connected to the network node 4 via cables as illustrated in the FIG. 3B, and the detection unit 5, the control unit 51 and the network node 4 are installed inside the building independently while the detection unit 5 is interconnected to the network node 4 and the control unit 51 via cable, and the control unit 51 is interconnected to the network node 4 and the detection unit 5 via cable as well as shown in FIG. 3C.
  • It is concluded from the foregoing preferred embodiments that the present invention, a configuration to detect and control the wireless network inside a building, can not only enhance the reliability of linking signals for a wireless network, but also facilitate the nodes within the wireless network to accomplish thereof performance of simple installation and reconditioning; moreover, the creation of the present invention in possession of the novelty and utility is more suitable to meet the need of users that makes it compliant with the requisites of application for an invention of patent; therefore, an application for patent is filed in accordance with the statutes of patent.
  • The foregoing preferred embodiments are simply described as some of the better preferred embodiments of the present invention; therefore, it is intended that the description of the preferred embodiments for the present invention illustrates rather than limits the present invention; that is, all the simply equivalent changes and modifications made to the contents disclosed by the present invention and the scope of patent applied for the present invention shall be resided within the scope of patent set forth below for the present invention.

Claims (8)

1. A memory heatsink set with supplementary retaining devices, comprising:
a first memory heatsink and a second memory heatsink, said first memory heatsink and said second memory heatsink being narrow elongated strip members, each having a top bearing flange perpendicularly extended from a top side thereof;
at least one guide device provided between the top bearing flanges of said first memory heatsink and said second memory heatsink for positioning during the assembly process of the memory heatsink set and for guiding said first memory heatsink and said second memory heatsink into alignment;
two supplementary retaining devices respectively provided at two ends between said first memory heatsink and said second memory heatsink, each said supplementary retaining device comprising first engagement means and second engagement means respectively located on one end of said first memory heatsink and one corresponding end of said second memory heatsink for supporting a memory module in between said first memory heatsink and said second memory heatsink, said first engagement means comprising a main engagement opening and at least one sub-engagement opening arranged in a parallel manner at the free end thereof, said main engagement opening having a relatively narrower outer end and a relatively wider inner end, said second engagement means comprising a main engagement block and at least one sub-engagement block disposed arranged in a parallel manner at the free end thereof for engaging the main engagement opening and at least one sub-engagement opening of said first engagement means respectively, said main engagement block having a relatively thicker outer end and a relatively thinner inner end.

The memory heatsink set with supplementary retaining devices as claimed in claim 1, wherein said first engagement means further comprises a spacer block disposed between said main engagement opening and each said sub-engagement opening, said spacer block having a recessed portion at a root thereof; each said sub-engagement block of said second engagement means has a configuration fitting the associating sub-engagement opening and a root expanding in direction toward said main engagement block.

The memory heatsink set with supplementary retaining devices as claimed in claim 1, wherein said first engagement means further comprises a locating groove disposed in each said sub-engagement opening; each said sub-engagement block has a locating protrusion for engaging the locating groove in the respective sub-engagement opening.

The memory heatsink set with supplementary retaining devices as claimed in claim 2, wherein said first engagement means further comprises a locating groove disposed in each said sub-engagement opening; each said sub-engagement block has a locating protrusion for engaging the locating groove in the respective sub-engagement opening.

The memory heatsink set with supplementary retaining devices as claimed in claim 1, wherein each said guide device comprises first retaining means and second retaining means respectively located on the top bearing flange of said first memory heatsink and the top bearing flange of said second memory heatsink for engagement with each other to prohibit displacement between said first memory heatsink and said second memory heatsink in left-right direction and to hold said first memory heatsink and said second memory heatsink in alignment.

The memory heatsink set with supplementary retaining devices as claimed in claim 2, wherein each said guide device comprises first retaining means and second retaining means respectively located on the top bearing flange of said first memory heatsink and the top bearing flange of said second memory heatsink for engagement with each other to prohibit displacement between said first memory heatsink and said second memory heatsink in left-right direction and to hold said first memory heatsink and said second memory heatsink in alignment.

The memory heatsink set with supplementary retaining devices as claimed in claim 5, wherein said first retaining means comprises a first retaining block protruded from the top bearing flange of one of said first memory heatsink and said second retaining means, and said second retaining means comprises two second retaining blocks protruded from the top bearing flange of the other of said first memory heatsink and said second memory heatsink and defining therebetween a space for the engagement of said first retaining block.

The memory heatsink set with supplementary retaining devices as claimed in claim 6, wherein said first retaining means comprises a first retaining block protruded from the top bearing flange of one of said first memory heatsink and said second retaining means, and said second retaining means comprises two second retaining blocks protruded from the top bearing flange of the other of said first memory heatsink and said second memory heatsink and defining therebetween a space for the engagement of said first retaining block.
